It's a nice hotel and I liked my suite, the staff are great and the breakfast was good. But the room wasn't cleaned properly and I had allergy problems all night, so didn't sleep well, and the next day was a long travel day.

The outside and general area is not very inviting but once inside everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and the room (415) was spacious with all that was promised. The only issue with the room was the movement activated entrance hall light which illuminated every time the bathroom was visited. Annoying in the middle of the night. The hotel is well located for the historic area and most key sites were within walking distance. The breakfast was very nice and quite Costa Rican although the choice was not large. Fine for a few days stay. I would recommend this hotel for a short downtown stay.
