Paola is a wonderful host! Responded quickly to inquiries, checked on us and offered help if needed. Apartment has gorgeous views and we loved the little beach bar a short walk down the beach. Delicious ceviche and refreshing cocktails. The perfect quiet getaway!

Nice location. However the property was not clean. We had to clean it the evening we checked in, even wash the sheets. Pillows and sheets were stained. Sand and stains on the floor and shower. Not enough amenities for 4 adults 2 nights.

Hear the waves

This property is clean and accurately described. The apartment complex is right on the water in the neighborhood of Fortuna. 2 glorious beaches within easy walking distance, one sort of wild with a river, the other for swimming. Luquillo beach is a 20 minute walk, kiosks are 15 minutes. We loved the location and the open view of the ocean. Our neighbors were friendly. You are in a neighborhood that is quiet, but there are houses that look really rough and then nice villas, etc. all mixed together. We really liked the more authentic experience, but if you are looking for a 5 star hotel feel, this is not it. So much to do very close by. Beaches, kiosks, rain forest, caves and Old San Juan. We love the Main Street of Rio Grande with craft shops and food trucks. Have a wonderful time in Puerto Rico!

Convenient Location

We stayed just a few nights after spending time on the west side of the island, wanting to use our last two days at Luquillo Beach. This property served it's purpose since you can see that beach from the patios. As others mention, the neighborhood is run down but we had no issues. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed.

Honestly the place didnt live up to our expectations. It seemed like the unit had not been updated or even maintained properly for 8-9 years. Lots of wear and tear on display in the unit. Little things were broken or didnt work properly, and when you add it all up it lead to our dissapointment.

Beautiful scenery with plenty of house room. We loved the ocean breeze with the waves crashing against the foundation. The location is very quiet.The rain forest is near by as is groceries and the Kiosk for food and souvenirs.

Clean, comfortable apartment in a great location

First floor apartment a few feet away from the sea! You can hear the ocean from the entire apartment! We ate breakfast on the patio every morning,watching and listening to the waves. So peaceful. Access to a beautiful and quiet beach is a short walk away. Kitchen is well stocked, including a powerful blender which we used to make delicious pina coladas. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler and towels are provided. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We had a great time and were sad to leave.

This worked perfectly for us. The place was on the ocean, by a river for fishing, a walk to a very nice locally run restaurant, quiet and in a neighborhood of non tourists. The check-in could have been easier but hey we got in.

Would stay again

What a view from living room area! I enjoyed the little secluded beach just west of the condo. Very private. Boogie boards were provided. Had a blast! Nearby beaches and restaurants. A/C only in bedrooms so living room was warm. Ocean breeze was helpful. Nice patio to sit and enjoy the ocean. Short trip to the National Forest. Had a nice stay.

Perfectly Authentic

We would definitely stay here again. Ariana was very communicative. The pictures match it well. Place was very clean and functional and beds and couch were comfortable. Patio has new furniture that is better than what is pictured. It had a few little things that were outdated or didn’t work perfectly but it wasn’t a problem at all. One set of keys was missing which made it tricky for our group but hopefully they have another set available for the next renter. It’s not a resort; neighborhood was authentic which we loved. While you can’t walk out the front door to the beach it’s an easy half-block walk to a very peaceful private beach where you can walk a few minutes to a beach bar for a Pima colada and snack.

This was a very convenient place located within walking distance of a private beach with nice waves. It's in a residential neighborhood and had everything we needed. Laundry was excellent. Very quiet.

The condo was great inside, all the amenities we needed. The porch furniture was smaller than in the picture but we made do with the beach chairs for our family of 4. The neighborhood behind the condo is very run down. People were friendly. Lots of dogs roaming around that are very friendly, we gave them water and our left overs. The ocean view and sounds were amazing. Short walk to the beach. The bakery close by was excellent. Communication with host was excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much

We enjoyed our stay in Luquillo. The apartment was simple with comfortable beds and suited our needs for the 3 of us (parents and teenaged daughter) - lovely to see and hear the waves! There were a few issues with the water heater and dryer but the property manager quickly addressed with no inconvenience to us. The location is very close to great places like Luquillo beach and kiosks and El Yunque but it is located in a very residential neighborhood that we didn't feel comfortable walking in. All in all a good place to stay if you are exploring from a local's perspective, and we would recommend for those looking for something different than a resort experience.

Great Place, no Major Problems

Biggest complaint was the paragraphs of directions I had to read and decipher, only to find out they are inaccurate (after calling). Wife and kids spent 15 minutes in the car while I tried to figure it all out. Aside from that, place is as described and area is beautiful.

A drop of the sea

We were very disappointed in the property. Lights,clock et not working. Dryer had no heat. Needed cl among and a fresh coat of paint. Deck furniture was so rusty you could not sit on it. It would stain your clothes. Fun time but property was disappointing.
