If you are looking for an upscale boutique hotel, this is not it. BUT if you're coming to Puerto Rico and wonder what it feels like for Puerto Ricans to return to the island and visit family, this is the place to stay. The bathrooms are small and the door is louvered. The floor is made of natural stone tiles throughout the entire room, including the shower floor. The decor is a bit outdated but goes with the theme. And for those reasons, this place felt like home. The front desk was accommodating and warm. Though check-in hours are very strict, check-out is pretty flexible. The beach is a block away. Everything else is within walking distance. Towels were always fresh and so was the coffee every morning. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was clean and the decor cute. The property one block from the beach super easy walk.Located between two nightlife type districts. The blonde lady emplyee such a welcoming spirit!The gentleman we met the last day of the stay he was helpful. The property is landscaped and nestled on the corner. I’d totally recommend this property and return myself for another stay.

One of the twin beds that were pushed together to make a single bed had something wrong with frame or mattress and caused a 2" deep dip in bed. Why would they continue to put sheets on it and not get it fixed. Other than that, hotel was cute and quaint in a great location.

I was really looking forward to this property after viewing the online pictures and reviews, but I found a much different experience during my stay. First of all, don't advertise that you have a bar onsite if it hasn't been open for 10 years. The bar is there but it has been a storage place for years and is not EVER open. If you want a bar you have to walk down the block to a sister hotel that has a bar attached to it. First night there we were up all night with some persons in a neighboring room in a drunken argument. They were in the hall and no one from the hotel even knew or checked on their property during the night. When I told the desk staff about it the next day, they never even made an offer to make right for my spouse and I, in any way. By the way, you can't call down to the desk to even say anything because they don't have phones in the room. What is maid service? To me maid service is new towels, made beds, refresh of coffee and other room supplies and clean the room. Here it means just taking your old towels and throwing some new ones on the bed. The windows in the room cannot be closed or locked...They were in disrepair and just freely swung open and shut depending on the weather. The hotel itself is overpriced for what you get and it is not a high-priced hotel. Staff was friendly but even their personalities couldn't fix this hotel's issues. Beach access was also a plus.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay on vacations, this is a beautiful hotel. Very rustic and so close to the beach. I loved everything about it with the exception that they never came to clean the room during my stay. I'm glad we were not messy people. Other than that, I recommend it.

I stayed here six nights, and while the location is great (two blocks from the beach, Walgreens and a nice café nearby), the overall experience didn’t meet expectations for the price. Check-in was confusing with little communication. After giving my name, I was told nothing except to wait, and a man sitting near the counter (possibly staff) asked me to place my suitcase behind the stairs. I waited over an hour with no updates, even though I notified them about early arrival. No one offered help with my luggage when the room was finally ready. The hotel looks much larger online. I never saw the bar shown in the photos, and the pool is very small. My coffee machine and safe didn’t work, the windows didn’t close properly (I ended up with mosquito bites), and I didn’t learn irons were available until day three when I happened to see one at the desk. Housekeeping was minimal—towels replaced, bed made, and vacuuming, but no sheet changes or bathroom cleaning. Mornings are noisy with staff talking loudly and doors slamming. The staff is friendly, but this property needs better communication, clearer information about amenities, improved housekeeping, and some updating. Fine for a short one- or two-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a full week.
