The first night was terrible due to noisy guests in the next room. I asked to change the room the next day and my request was graciously accommodated. The bedding appeared very dated. the overall appearance from entry to hallways was below average. Location is great.

Parking is too far You have to walk on cobble stones to get to hotel Drop off area is too small Breakfast is just bread, fruits, cold cereal, juice and coffee Noisy neighbors and the fact room was near delivery zone did not help (Woke up at 3am and then 6am) The room was clean, comfortable and clean but carpet was worn out There was a medium size fridge and microwave There we’re plates glasses and silverware A coffee maker as well The Gym was nice No pool The beach is a short walk away If you enjoy long walks you can get to Old San Juan by foot and take in the views In sum, it has it pros and cons but there are better areas for the same rate or just a few dollars more.

Great Location, But That’s About It

The hotel is in a great spot, but everything else was a big letdown. The room looked dirty and had a weird smell. I even noticed what looked like mold. When I asked the front desk to help with the remote (which wasn’t working), I was met with attitude. Thankfully, the maintenance guy who came was friendly and helpful. The beds were really hard, and I suspect there were bed bugs — I woke up with itchy bites and now have a rash on my leg. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re okay with the risk of leaving with a rash or getting sick.
