This property had a lot to offer. Supper clean well organized. We had everything we needed. We did pick up more toilet paper and napkins just because we had 11 guest. But they even provided floss and makeup wipes. The kitchen is fully equipped and enough towels for everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool and the late night movies in the theater. I wanted to thank them for the champagne and beers they welcomed us with :)!
I have rented through VRBO for over a decade. This is by far the worst experience I had with regard to a false description of a property, as well as awful customer service from VRBO. The property was listed as being accessible to major sites. It wasnât. Rather it was high up in the mountains with poor, dangerous roads. The host was not accommodating and gave very poor communication. The house was dated, mid-described and had multiple fixtures and electrical issues. I could discuss how 2 of the 3 bathroom showers didnât work. The front gate. The absolutely disgusting outside kitchen. The one TV that was damaged with a black line down the screen. But I also want to point out the multiple life sized signs throughout the house of everything you could not do. The fact that there was barely any WiFi and that there was even a time limit on the hours the PRIVATE POOL could be used per day. Less than 72 hours later I reached out to VRBO given the hostâs lack of timeliness. That was a disaster as well and the rep basically told me it was my fault and VRBO had no responsibility. It was ironically like the VRBO commercial with Nick Sabin. All I can end with is donât rent this house and donât expect VRBO to do the right thing.
The house is beautiful - roads horrific. On day one, while almost there, the host calls to inform me that one bathroom wasn't working but the plumber will come to fix it. We had 15 family members on the way & def. needed 3 bathrooms. The plumber (aka hosts husband) came multiple times during our stay and nothing was ever fixed. We stayed the entire time with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen sink water was just a trickle the entire stay as well. When we complained, he said heâd fix that as well. Nope. So we were down one bathroom and had little to no use of the kitchen sink. My mom is elderly & we made sure to pick a place that had a pool for her to exercise in. Every morning sheâd go in the pool except for the last day. She woke me up to tell me that someone was on the property at the pool. When asked, the man stated that he was hired to clean the pool everyday. No one ever came to clean the pool while we were there. I texted the host. She sent me a excerpt of the rules: âThe maintenance of the pool is periodically scheduled according to the need of the pool to be able to guarantee the health of the water and the enjoyment of our guests; so it is possible that during their stay the technician will have to access the pool area. We do everything possible (we cannot guarantee it) so that the service is provided early in morning without interrupting the enjoyment of our guests.â I donât know where that is from. But why not wait after we left? Very petty of her. We were not happy.
