The property is just ok .We find it average and a little expensive for the price. There are some issues during our stay - and one is we didn’t like the smell of the hallway carpets, the room smells like mold or something. There is a 40 dollar prepaid credit that they want you to use only at the pool restaurant but the service takes so long . Free breakfast is so limited. Bike rental was not available when requested . The staff are friendly and attentive though.

My stay was excellent. The property was clean and the staff was great. One suggestion. Informing visitors that tips are not covered in the 40.00 daily fee. Other than that I would definitely stay here again. Lovely property overall.

hotel needs humidifier installed asap. room smells like mildew. everything in the room is damp. not good for electronics. cpap machine was drawing in wet funky damp smell all night. inside of camera had moisture. unworn clothes had to be washed when we returned home because they had absorbed the wet damp funky smell from the room. i would not recommend this property.

The Residence Inn San Juan was very clean and nice, the only issue we had was the mold and mildew smell on the floor and in one of the rooms. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I reserved three rooms at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The overall maintenance was very poor — the sofa bed and pillows were damp, the washing machine was out of order, and when I inquired about its availability, a staff member hung up on me. The service was subpar, and to make matters worse, there were sugar ants in the bed. This was an unacceptable stay, and I will absolutely not be returning.

Only bad part is you find out you have 45 dollars a day extra to pay. 40 you get to use at their restaurant and the other 5 can be used at their little shop. Per day does not roll over. Use it or lose it. And know it is 19 dollars per day to park a vehicle as well. It all adds up. But the hotel in itself was great and a short walk to numerous restaurants and close to isla verde beach. Had a nice pool and great staff and the room was pretty awesome. Still would recommend but people should know the other additional costs.
