It was such a peaceful stay and a nice getaway from the hustle of everyday. While there we got to enjoy a nice little rain shower. While enjoying it on the rocking chairs on the front porch, we were welcomed by a baby skunk, who did not care we where there. Then we got to enjoy the hummingbirds playfully playing with each other. Thank you for sharing a price if your heaven with us.
Great location, beautifully designed to cultivate the hill country aesthetic. Pretty views at the cabin. There are 2 other rentals on property nearby but we had no issues with the neighbors.
The property was cute. My daughter and I stayed there for a couple days during her texas state orientation. I was able to do work using wifi in the evenings without issue. It has a perfect location to get you anywhere quickly. The vrbo was less expensive than the hotels in the area. I would recommend.
Upon arrival we found the door to the cabin ajar and unlocked due to the key pad not working. Contacted the property management company and explained the issue she didnât seem concerned at all that the door was unlocked, after several minutes of convincing her that I knew how the keypad worked and the lock was broken, she gave me a code to a lock box to obtain a key. The cabin was cute but could definitely use a deep cleaning. There were ants in the kitchen on the first morning of our stay which caused us to have to throw away some of the food we had brought with us, also found a few ants around the bed in the loft area. Reported the ants to the property management company and was told she would let them team know. Never heard from anyone on the issue. The loft bed was uncomfortable due to it being a mattress laying directly on the floor. The best part of the cabin was sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds, and other wildlife as the sunrises and sunset. The WIFI was knocked out by storms in the area on the second night of our stay and our cell phones would not work inside the cabin without the WIFI connection.
We had a great weekend at the cabin. It is so cute and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and there is lots of shade around the porch for a cool breeze. The bathroom is adorable! Love the mural on the walls. The upstairs was warm at night. A fan would have helped a lot. Definitely would love to stay again in the fall or early spring.
It was a good trip my mistake on booking with loft bed was not the most comfortable it was hot upstairs sheets for the blow up bed were dirty location was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do overall it was ok I would recommend for a younger age couple and recommend you bring a good fan for the upstairs room
Through no fault of the property owner, our check in process was horrible!!! I did reserve the property the day before check in, but the address to the property was never sent to us by Vrbo. After calling them, they put me on hold numerous times. After we finally got the address and entered it into navigation, I let them know that I expected door codes to be sent to me in 15 minutes. When we arrived at the property, there was a gate that required a code to enter and we had not received anything from Vrbo. After giving us three different codes to try to open the gate and one person in our group being dangerously close to the hwy, a code finally worked. These errors on vrboâs clock caused us to lose several hours of relaxation time we desperately needed that evening and they offered NO compensation for the inconvenience.
Cabin was in a perfect location, secluded but close to town and stores. Bathroom is awesome! Front porch rocking chairs and the time spent watching the wildlife and stars at night were our favorite!!
Beautiful serene hill country setting. Great German style âSunday HausâWonderful artistic Wood and tile artisan work throughout the main floor with an authentic loft upstairs for the children and agile adults. I would return in an instant!
This is my second time staying here, because I loved it so much the first time. The property is very serene, with the hill country to sit and look at, and the home is cozy, with great detail to the woodwork, designs, and amenities provided! Because of the drought at the Lakes, the Hot Tub was not available, however it was not an issue, because the bathroom and bathtub provided just as much of a relaxing experience. However, the first time Iâve been here we did use the hot tub and it was great with the outdoor atmosphere! I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay for outings in the area or just to relax. A true charm and Blessed to have found this!
I loved staying here with the option to easily visit both Wimberly and Gruene and then be able to come home and relax in the quiet. Great porch for sitting and relaxing.
Was a good location and place for last minute booking but pictures are very deceiving. There is no room to get in the bed, you have to literally crawl to not hit your head.
Also do not try to ask for anything extra. We had 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. We asked for one more and they acted like that is all they should supply so we bought our own. That is the only thing we asked for during the trip. But it is a good location to get to most places around there.
