We just got back from Sunset Caribe. Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and great amenities. The pool is beautiful, no sun until the afternoon though. The hot tub is huge. We did go across to the other hotel for the beach but the water is pretty murky so we didn’t swim there. The room was clean and very comfortable. The restaurants in the area were all good and many are easily walkable. The town is about a 10-15 golf cart ride away. I’d highly recommend a snorkeling tour and a day visit to Caye Caulker.

Our stay was amazing, the staff was lovely and very responsive to our needs. The room was very clean and had everything we needed . This hotel is a must stay when you visit San Pedro, it was also in close proximity to all the restaurants and supermarkets.

The rooms and facility was excellent, clean and fresh!The gym was modern and well equipped. I used it everyday during our stay. The pool was really nice but could have used a little heating. The jacuzzi was nice and hot! The food served around the pool came out fast, fresh with excellent flavor! I have visited San Pedro about 8 times in the past 2.5 years but i am glad they finished the sunset caribe. I said i couldn't wait to stay here the next time i visited and I am glad i did! It was hands down the best hotel i stayed in since visiting San Pedro. Now its a no brainer when I visit. Its Sunnset Caribe or NOTHING!

The staff was average. They were not very friendly or welcoming. No late check out offered. They gave 2 physical keys. One of which didn’t work. The door could also only be locked with that key, you had to push all you body weight into it to get it closed. You had to park outside golf carts very far away from the hotel buildings. The elevators had no AC. It was extremely hot and humid. Pool staff were very dry and slow. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Convince of hotel location. Overall. Would not stay here again.

It’s a beautiful resort lobby smells amazing. Staff was very helpful , clean, beautiful views, but they do need an on-site restaurant of some sort. Also, you are allowed to go to the sister hotel if you want to eat at one of the restaurants or if you want to spend money, but you’re not allowed to go on the beach of the sister hotel. Sunset Caribe is not on the beach . Nice stay, I would stay again but at the sister resort.
