I really liked my stay at the hotel. Yes no elevators but they guard does help you with your bags. Rooms are a bit tight, we got a double bed, but with the history of the building it makes sense. They are going to be expanding they said, just everything takes time. Before leaving a bad review , know the history first of el salvador and then understand how far businesses have grown and being developed. The concierge was very nice, very pleasant. My room was clean. AC worked really good! It its right in the center of all historic areas of the Capitol. No fridge in the rooms but again everything is walking distance, food, entertainment. And if your really lazy to walk, the vendors are literally outside walking selling food. Bathroom was super clean. Balcony could use a powerwash, due to all the pigeons but again, the pigeons will never leave its part of what makes it historic. Balconies are huge. The vendors do respect and by 4pm-5pm you dont hear much of any noise other than normal foot traffic or buses. I would stay again. Thank you for a great stay!

Booked at the Abrego for one night and definitely would not stay here again. As soon as we walked in there was a nasty smell. Maybe like a mildew smell and the bathroom smelled even worse. The rooms were so tiny and not what they looked like in the picture. I knew it was a basic hotel and was only booked for one night, but the pictures made it look bigger. Overall the room felt dirty. Floors, curtains,bathroom, etc. It was outside of a busy market so was a crowded area but that could be a plus to some. I did like how it was near a bunch of restaurants and sites of interest. One plus was that the bed was super comfy!

The room did have air conditioning. We felt that it was still kind of hot in the room, even on the lowest setting, but it has a great location, tons of shops nearby, right next to the historical district. You can walk any direction and find food shopping and things to see.

Die Lage des Hotels sehr gut, es war alles im historischen Zentrum zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr viele Restaurants rund um. Für eine oder zwei Nächte hat genau gereicht 👌
