Dont expect too much. Youll get your bed. Room had a bad odour. Shower was non existent. Only maybe had 10 holes on the shower head. Slow Fridge was dirty Thin walls, can hear people walking around the halls and floor above. Front recepton had nice people though. Its a place where youd sleep.. Pricey also.

Yikes

It is/was a Motel 6 rebranding. Cheap, uncomfortable furniture. The bed was old and springs were bad. Sheets were thin. Shower didn't drain. Toilet ran. It was not handicap accessible.

Nice stay at an economy hotel that accepts dogs.

The hotel is under new management and the lobby is being remodeled. It did not affect our stay which was fine for our weekend stay. Very happy that Azul Inn San Simeon accepts owners with a dog.

Azul stay in San Simeon

It was a nice place to stay; the bed was comfortable and the location to go to Hearst Castle was perfect. The only downside was the renovations that was happening at the facility but didn’t interfere what we had planned. The staff were very courteous and friendly.

Someone opened the my room while my daughter was asleep. I had left to get us breakfast and I think someone noticed the car gone. Probably thought we were not in our room. My daughter called me, very panicked that someone was trying to enter the room, they had a an extra room key but when they heard my dog bark they left. My daughter opened the door later to see if it was probably the cleaning crew but there was no cart on anyone on site. They are also doing renovations so we were woken up at 7 in the morning by construction crew climbing on ladders near our window and a bunch of drilling and foot steps on top of the roof. Very unpleasant experience.

Dirty and musty

My wife and mother-in-law and sister-in-law did a girls trip. I guess the room was very musty. The bathrooms were not clean so they went and got their money back and went to a different hotel

Great location across highway 1 from the beach and 10 minutes to Cambria. Sheets were clean, and the paint lookedfresh. However, several little things did not work quite right or were damaged (light switch, key card, bathroom vanity and storage shelf), and there was gum stuck under the top of the nightstand.
