Our "ocean facing full view" patio room was below beach level so we could not see the beach. The room was old not like in photos. There were numerous fly's in the room. Disgusting! Called to upgrade to a balcony and was told I had to cancel thru Expedia and then book thru the hotel. Later I recd an email offer from the hotel to upgrade my room but I had to "Bid" for the upgrade and that 8 other people recd the offer so I should "bid the highest" to ensure I would win the opportunity to upgrade and pay the difference at arrival. The clerk that checked us in was very nice! She was the best part of our stay. We will NEVER stay here again.

Overall it was a really nice stay. The property is pet friendly which was a huge plus. The rooms are updated but not entirely. Some of the furniture could benefit from being replaced. I did appreciate the hard wood floors a lot since most hotels nearby don’t have them. There was plenty of parking and the WiFi worked great. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean. The layout of the room was different than most hotels. Had 2 sinks- one in the bathroom & one outside the bathroom. I found this to be convenient. Bed was comfortable. Good ventilation in the room. It is a two story building & no elevators.

Staff was very friendly & kind. Location is awesome. Rooms are attractive. Would benefit from some outdoor seating to enjoy the views. Bathroom had hairs in the shower & the faucets didn’t work well. Mostly pretty clean & well maintained but the floor at the entrance to the building was pretty dirty for the entire 3 days.

Biggest issue with the room was that it was not clean. Floors were very dirty and bedding seemed to be unclean. The power went out on our last morning there and was out for a couple hours before we checked out. Upon checking out, we were not offered any apologies or resolution. Very unimpressive hotel. Only real positive was the location. Truly great views and the beach is across the street. Would recommend checking out a different hotel in the area.
