Would probably give it 2.5 stars. Wouldn’t be able to stay in this place longer than 2 nights. Was not at all impressed with the place for how much it cost. Upon arriving, the trash from the last occupants was just sitting outside the door. Living area is not as big as you would think based on the pictures. It claims to sleep 4, but one of the mattresses is just thrown on the ground in a corner behind the main bed. Refrigerator is basically a hotel fridge so we couldn’t fit most of the food we brought into it and there is no sink or oven in the kitchen. Upkeep on the landscaping leaves a lot to be desired as well. A couple hours of weeding and wiping down surfaces around the bar and grill would go a long way. We also found a bunch of random trash that was left behind throughout the indoor and outdoor space during our stay. The grill is really the only way to cook food and it took 15 minutes of scraping it down before it was as even usable. Surprisingly the hot tub was actually fairly clean and operational. All things considered, I would not book this place again.

The loft itself was amazing! Nicely decorated and had plenty of games and movies for the rainy days!! Had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property needed a good weeding and some parts were pretty overgrown. The hot tub was unusable
. Water levels below jets, water was green and there were frogs swimming in hot tub. Water smelled pretty bad as well. The beach was nice but we felt like we were being watched while out there by the people in the house on the property. The lake was beautiful. Our designated side of the beach had other people’s belongings on it as well. Other people were parked in our designated parking spot. Lack of communication with host was kind of an issue as well. Messaged them on Saturday and never got a response until Monday. Again, loved the loft but the overall property and communication could use some work.

A blue paradise and the Tiki loft

We had a wonderful time at your place! We were in the tiki loft and we loved having our own private hot tub ,fire pit over the lake and the tiki bar where we enjoyed her outdoor meals and used the grill!When the beach was finally finished, we loved having your own private beach. Had difficulty turning on the hot tub. Instructions weren't clear and when ask for pictures to help us try again there was no way to send pictures. However, the left side of the hot tub did work right side mot so much..We loved the tiki nut, but it was really dirty. The big fireplace was also full of ashes was very unattractive. We had no way of cleaning it..Still, we would return because the positive is far outweigh the negatives! We wish we knew there were stairs! Steep and we had a lot of trouble getting up and down. Loved the shower! The apartment was really cute.

Beware! Not as advertised

This place is in need of a good cleaning! Pictures online show a relaxing beach get away. This is not what you get. Let’s start outside- the pictures in the listing show a beautiful beach with tons of activities for families to enjoy. Reality is that is all for the main house. We got lucky and the people who were renting the main house let us use the good side of the beach ( see pics) or my kids would have been devastated. Everything is broke and not maintained even on the good side. The paddle boat is sunk. The owner even sent me a message to let me know his cleaning crew ( father in law) told him we were using the wrong side of the beach and needed to move before the next guest checked in. Like I said we got lucky and the people renting the main house allowed us to use it. There was NO outdoor eating area for the loft, the couches that were there were dirty and not the ones in the listing. The tiki bar was cool but again in desperate need of repair. The inside is small. The ONLY sink is in the bedroom and so is the bathroom. The sink isn’t in the bathroom it is right outside and that’s is where you are expected to do dishes and also brush your teeth. Gross. The 5th bed is located behind the main bed as they tossed a mattress on the floor behind the bed. NONE of the interior doors closed or locked( bedrooms or bathroom). New owner needs to adjust listing to be more accurate and update the photos to reflect the actual property.

A little slice of paradise!

We loved our stay! The tiki theme made it feel like a little slice of paradise. The lake was wonderful. The included use of the kayaks and paddle boards was really nice! We made a fire in the firepit outside and used the hot tub while we watched a movie on the TV behind the bar. The loft is nicely appointed and has everything you need, including games (we played Pictionary!). We'll definitely be back again. Thank you to our hosts!

Beautiful location but
.

The lake was beautiful and location was wonderful. However the pictures are very misleading. Pictures of the property are outdated. The property is overgrown and unkept. We still had a great time but was unable to use the paddle boat because it was in poor shape. The outside area was filthy and needs a good deep clean. The owner definitely needs to do some updating and yard maintenance.

Honestly I was unable to stay-I broke my kneecap and had surgery on Friday so the steps were not possible for me.My stepdaughter and son in law did stay.They FaceTimed me and showed the areas that were dirty, which were several areasAlso they had concerns with safety and anyone having access to their space through the garage door. So they did not sleep well she said.

Delightful!

Very nice loft and beautifully decorated outdoor areas to enjoy! Enough space for our family of 5. We loved the beach, kayaks/paddle boat/paddle boards/swim raft, gas fire pit area, tiki bar, and hot tub, and the floaties and life jackets that we could use. Appreciated the ice maker! The sleeping nook behind the master bed is so nice that our teenage kids all wanted that spot. Comfortable beds. Suggestions would be to add instructions for the neat shower, coffee pods for the keurig (love the chai/cocoa/cider though), curtain/blinds for the bedroom window, smaller faucet for the sink, foot bath for getting in the hot tub, dusting of cobwebs outside, and let guests of other house know if we have a designated area of the beach. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend the tiki loft! Thank you!
