Good and not so good

The good: The condo was clean, and well outfitted with a Keurig, blow dryer, kitchen supplies, and DirectTV with streaming services. We also appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and rolling cart. There are several restaurants and a small market on property. The not so good: The condo has a large screened in balcony but it faces a courtyard with no view. Unfortunately the condo rental does not come with use of the resort amenities (main pool, kayaks, bikes, beach chairs/umbrella service, etc.) and we asked and they can’t even be rented or a day pass purchased. The only pool you can use on property is the one closest to the unit and it’s very small and crowded.

Me encantĂł mi estancia. Un lugar muy agradable y ideal para dejar en familia. El apartamento excelente con todas la comodidades para sentirte como en casa. Lo Ășnico que recomiendo es que realicen fumigaciones porque hay muchos bichos y mosquitos que pican bastante y casi no se podĂ­a estar en la Piscina ni en la playa Por todo lo demĂĄs excelente servicio y comunicaciĂłn. Me encantĂł mi estancia

No sheets on the bed and none available in the Unit

We arrived in the evening of our first night, and the bed was not made and there were no sheets anywhere in the unit that fit the king size bed. Email stated there was to be a parking pass for us in the unit, it was nowhere to be found. We tried to get a hold of the property manager only got voicemails, left voicemails nobody got back to us. Had to call the front desk to get parking pass and tried to get sheets for the bed, they told us since they did not manage our unit, they could not give us sheets, which is understandable. Tried sending message thru the VRBO app, that also went unanswered. Sent an email, got a reply that we did not see until the day were leaving. Nobody ever tried calling us!!! Looked everywhere in the unit and found a queen set, we used the flat sheet to on the king size bed to sleep in. Bummer since we only used the unit to sleep, because we were out most of the time. It would have been nice to have sheets that fit the bed we were sleeping on. Would not book a stay with this property manager again. We loved the area and will definitely be back to Sanibel.

Quiet Geteaway

Great location right on the beach and in an area that isn't very crowded. Really worked well for just the two of us. All the beach extras were a bonus (chairs, umbrella, towels). Unit is well stocked with all the basics.

Great condo in great location

This is a great condo for a couple. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. Liked the keurig. Although we didn’t have a direct view of the gulf, the fountain outside our balcony was very nice. The location in the island was excellent. We could get to most restaurants within 10 minutes. The pool was very nice and the beach was great. The beach chairs were heavy and low. Might want to bring your own. We did the dolphin cruise from Captiva and the kayak tour from Tarpon Bay Explorers. Enjoyed both but there were a lot of boats in the tour and it was hard to hear the naturalist. Might want to do the tour thru the mangroves on your own or check to see how many boats are going out. We loved our stay in Sanibel and plan to come back next year.

Beautiful condo in a great location!

This condo is in a great location just steps from the pools and beach. Everything you could possibly need is available for your stay. Loved the beach chairs, umbrella and cart to get everything to the beach. Cute decor throughout. The owner kept in touch during our stay to answer any questions and to make sure our stay was going well. Our family had a great time and would highly recommend this condo.

Condo was beautiful. Kids were bored.

Kids were bored ocean was too hot waves were too small. Didn't have access to Sundial pool and water slides. Kids were very disappointed. we left our condo one day early and gave up our last night to move on.

Great stay

It was a little awkward that we had to drive out of our way to get the key. Prior to checking on I contacted the manager about the coffee pot and was given misinformation which caused me an extra expense. The unit was beautiful, the resort is fabulous and out stay was very relaxing. I would stay there again.

Perfect accommodations, location and vacation

This was our first tome to Sanibel and it had far more going on while still maintaining a laid back beach vibe. The condo and adjoining resort was as good as any Caribbean resort with a great beach, recreational opportunities, on site bar and restaurants. But better than most overseas resorts it was very safe to travel around and enjoy the beautiful views and shops, visit Captiva, catch a great sunset. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Ownership of the condo and adjoining resort were very accommodating and good to work with.
