Nice quiet place to relax, short walk to a very nice Bowman Beach

The house was nice and quiet. My party of 7 enjoyed the pool and the bikes. I have used rentals on SI for over 20 years and this is the only place that had spices and other small kitchen expendables. That is a bonus. One quick question to the host was answered quickly.

Perfect Get Away

Loved being able to walk to Bowmans beach every night to watch the sunset. Seashells gallore! Nice pool to be able to relax in and around for down time. Very nice home!

Beach house with it all!

First of all the host, Deborah, has to be the best host we have ever had! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and answered every question quickly. The house itself is a short walk (10 min with children) to the beach and it is a very pleasant walk at that. Three of the days we saw manatees by the bridge over the lagoon. There was 6 of us and the house and amenities were the perfect size. All the usual stuff (linens, kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms) was well stocked plus there was a lot of "extras" that most rentals don't have like charcoal grill, sand toys, pool toys, fishing equipment, beach chairs, bikes and umbrellas. Not having to buy or rent all this stuff was appreciated. We have been renting a different place every year for spring break for the past 9 years but I think we have found the place that will become our tradition. We most definitely we be back next year!

Fantastic home and location

This is a lovely vacation home. The owner has provided everything you would need for a great beach holiday.The bedrooms are comfortable, with ceiling fans and closets. Bathrooms are bright and clean, with lots of towels.The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are multiple areas to eat in.The pool and hot tub are new, so the photos are not perfectly accurate. However the pool is a real added bonus, nothing like coming back after a warm day, showering off the sand with the outdoor shower, and then sinking into the heated water to relax.I think it was our favorite feature. That and the proximity to Bowman’s Beach.Instructions and communication were efficient and the owner is very responsive.

Perfect getaway

Tbis property was nice however there was a hole in the screened in porch secured by duct tape....it kept falling..could not enjoy the porch in the evenings r/t bugs biting....it was kind of jungly and overgrown behind the property. The pool was not clean when we arrived...In one of the bedrooms the the sheets smelled like they hadn't been changed...(sweaty

I few issues with our stay.

While the pool had been cleaned prior to our arrival, there was wood and other debris in the pool. The pool was finally cleaned 5 days after our arrival. One of the toilets did not work properly. The tank would not fill with water so we had to fill the tank manually prior to each flushing. The host said they will fixed the toilet after our stay.

Nice stay in Sanibel

Stayed here as our condo on Sanibel is in its final stages of renovation. The house was nice and had many amenities that made our stay "like home". The pool was nice, but lacked shade or a patio umbrella, so we utilized it more in the late afternoon. It's a 5 minute walk to the parking lot of Bowmans beach, then another 5 to the beach. With our kids the walk took 15 minutes from driveway to sand. But Sanibels beaches our worth it! Location is perfect for Captiva dinners and activities.

Everything we hoped for!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was equipped with everything we needed. We spent many mornings and evenings at the pool and in the screened in porch. Most afternoons we walked over to the beautiful beach (which was only 5 min away). This was a great find for us!

Sanibel

The house was clean and just as described. We were quite happy with the location as it was convenient to both Sanibel and Captiva. Beach access is a short walk away and beach area filled with beautiful shells. Some construction happening next door, however not bothersome. Enjoyed our stay very much. Mucky Duck in Captiva was a delight at sunset.

Spring Break 2024

Beautiful, peaceful property! Walk to the beach was along a beautiful path, easy walking. Heated pool was perfect for relaxing and a fun game of water volleyball. We could not get the hot tub to heat, but the weather was so nice we didn’t really care. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, bath towels and beach towels nice quality. Nice bike and walking trails on the island. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Great location, clean house and heated pool!

We had two 70 year olds, three 40 year olds and three kids 11, 9 and 6. Everyone could walk to the beach (12 min door to beach through a pretty shell path) and the house has a good beach cart and beach wagon. They also had a ton of good quality beach and bath towels. The beach was AMAZING. We saw dolphins jumping every day. The pool was well heated and the hot tub was perfect. I had a few questions for the manager and she responded within minutes. Overall a really great beach week in a comfortable and clean house! We would go back!

Bowmans Beach Property

Quick walk to Bowmans Beach, house has everything needed for your stay. Plenty of room and a heated pool. Great shelling. So happy to be able to stay on the island again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back!!
