Called ahead of time to ask about ev chargers being available and was told they were always running. Once I arrived the charger did not work. My toilet also came pre clogged?!! How does that even happen. I feel like a motel 6 wouldn't even do that. And they just gave me a plunger to fix it myself. Surprisingly bad for the price you pay.

The amenities and room were quite nice. Loved the garden view and the duck pond. Was able to feed ducks with my kid. Their coffee is very good as well. The breakfast was standard Hotel fair end of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a bit strange was that our room had a strange smell.

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting our kid at UCSB. The rooms are large (plenty of room for dorm stuff for move-in/out). The beds are comfy and the rooms have balconies and two sinks-one in the bathroom and one just outside-so nice for a family. The free breakfast is fine, the people stocking it are lovely. The pond/garden area is really nice. The only downside is whoever sleeps next to the air conditioner freezes, but everyone else is comfortable.
