I really enjoyed the stay, the room was large and comfortable. The view of Levi Stadium and tailgate party city was priceless! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel was buzzing with a palatable positive 49er vibe. All the groovy sounds of families enjoying the pool and the restaurant chatter completely dismissed any occurring reconstruction inconveniences. Staying at the Hilton Santa Clara was such an added bonus for my first NFL 49er football game experience! Looking forward to my next one! Thanks for the memories!! You Rock!! Woooooo Hooooo!!!! Cheers!!

Average hotel, if it’s a quick stay you might not mind some things. But when they charge premium cost for a game, you would expect more. The room smelled, the feeling was average all around. It is walking distance to the stadium.

There was an event at Levi Stadium making it nearly impossible to get to the hotel. I get that events are common but there was no notification from Hilton regarding the road closures and staff seemed unaware of how to tell folks how to get to the hotel. A fifteen minute errand turned into a 3.5 hour trip, we could see the hotel but couldn't get to it. If info had been provided prior then we could have planned accordingly. Other than that huge negative , the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and it was really good.

Was excited to be able to see the Levi stadium but the room I stayed at was under construction and also when we first arrive it felt non friendly at the front desk. I’m hoping next time is so much better. Just because I believe in second chances. But overall the view to the Levi stadium was amazing.

Some things to work on

The hotels.com description does not say the hotel is currently under construction. The lounge is not open, etc. and that needs to be prominently conveyed. The guests in the adjacent room from ours were being very loud well past 10 pm which necessitated a message to the desk. The noise did quiet down shortly after so I will give credit that I think it was addressed and I do not fault staff or property for the conduct of their guests. When we left we inquired with the front desk why the American flag out front was not at half-staff as ordered by the president and the desk clerk was not professional or willing to ask someone for an answer. This is a great hotel (we have stayed here before for games) and its location is second to none for Levi’s stadium and it is clean and comfortable. But some notable things can leave a big impression.
