This is a motel, formerly a Travellodge according to my map. It is bare bones!, no tissue, no lotion, no pictures on the walls, no bureau/drawers for unpacking, no closet, just a stick on the wall for a hanger, bed was good, pillows terrible, un-repainted plaster patches on the walls in the bathroom. It did have a second bedroom, so there was a place to put my suitcase. Very stark overhead lighting, ie, no bedside lamps.All in all, very disappointing for the price.

FĂŒr eine Nacht okay, wir waren jedoch 4 NĂ€chte und das war dann doch etwas lang. Die RĂ€ume sind sehr hellhörig, man hört von den Nachbarn alles. Das WLAN funktioniert schlecht bis gar nicht. Die Lage ist dafĂŒr gut, man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Aber alles in allem kann man fĂŒr den Preis mehr erwarten.

Great People And Location. Horrible Cleanliness.

Location is super convenient to walk into town and the boardwalk. Front desk staff are easy to talk with. The pool & hot tub were disgusting. I've professionally cleaned pools. This was one of the worst ones I've seen in a while. I let front desk know and they said they would let the manager know. Please do not go in the pool unless they clean it!! Easy way to get skin and "other" problems... The room had trash, unclean floors(food stuck to the floor, and lots of dirt. Do not go barefoot!), and falling apart comforters with fluff and string hanging out. For one night, it was fine enough for two adult women.
Film on top of the hot tub just scratches the surface of how dirty the water it.
Cannot even see the bottom. SO foggy.

Room Smelt like Bleech, Drug Deals on the Block, Paper Thin Walls

VRBO ReviewI recently stayed at this property, which I discovered upon arrival is actually a motel—a detail that is only apparent if you scroll far down in the listing. Checking in was a unique experience: it was entirely via a kiosk with a remote attendant on a screen. The process felt impersonal but functional. The machine dispensed room keys, receipts, and scanned IDs, though the proximity of the kiosk (just two rooms away from ours) meant we could hear every late-night check-in conversation, even as late as 12:30 a.m. or as early as 6:30 a.m., which disrupted our rest.The noise issues didn't stop there. The walls are paper-thin, and we could hear our neighbors’ TV until past midnight (and again early in the morning) and their arguments word for word. A woman walking up and down the upstairs balcony on speakerphone made the situation worse.The exterior environment was concerning. The drive in passes broken-down trailers, and we witnessed some apparent drug deals in a nearby small park. However, the motel parking lot seemed clean, and I was relieved that my truck remained secure.Inside the room, things were better. It was very clean and matched the pictures online, though it smelled strongly of bleach, requiring us to air it out while we were out for the day. The bed linens had a couple of questionable spots, but otherwise, the amenities—such as the fridge and good water pressure—met basic expectations. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

False advertising

This was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite. There was only one bedroom and then they took out the couch and threw in another bed. There was no place to sit at all except for an uncomfortable desk chair. We were 3 people and there were only 2 towels. When I went to the desk to get another they said they wouldn't be open until 9 am (Saturday morning) The heater was loud and blew out mostly cold air so we didn't use it.

Board walk/ college tour

Absolutely rough! Paper thin walls, super basic inside, 2 towels for 4 ppl. Broken down cars and druggies literally across the street, cars driving by all night long, garbage around property, not a place to rest if you actually want to sleep. Kids and neighbors so loud, you could hear everything including. Tv, doors shutting , walking on floors , ugh!! The bed was comfortable

Birthday trip

We stayed here for a birthday weekend getaway and this was place was nice! There were slight annoyances like they won’t bring water up to your room, you have to pay for it and it is cash only and I did not see an ATM. We received a noise complaint around 8 pm Friday night when in our opinion we’re not being that loud.

This place insinuates that you can walk to the boardwalk, maybe if you want to walk 5-6 blocks, especially with beach supplies, not me. Do they have an indoor pool and jacuzzi? Yes, but also no room to sit and watch your kids play. Also, its location is amungst homeless people. It was frustrating that there is no place to hang wet clothes. The walls were so thin, you can almost hear your neighbor fart. Lastly, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, my husband and I will definitely need a chiropractic adjustment following this vacation. This was the reason for a low rating.

Convenient Location and Pet-Friendly Stay

This is an old motel that has had a significant "refresh." It is basic, but very conveniently located if you like exploring on foot. Didn't have any trouble with our dogs, with a small part adjacent to the property and a walking path along the river nearby. Would likely stay again.
