We have been coming to the Eldorado for over 15 years. It is the only hotel we choose. This time we noticed the wear & tear more than ever before, but we were informed by the wonderful staff members that management is working on improvements which is amazing news!!!

Our recent stay at Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe was an overall delightful experience. Although we noticed some painting tape on our floor, indicating ongoing updates, and the pool bar was closed—disappointing as we had looked forward to it for a birthday celebration—the Front Desk staff made our stay enjoyable by suggesting we take our drinks from the lobby bar to the scenic rooftop pool. We found ourselves so enchanted by the charming Santa Fe shops and vibrant culture that we prioritized exploring over visiting the pool bar. The convenience of texting the Front Desk for any needs was a great touch, and the cleaning staff respected our privacy, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. All in all, despite a few minor hiccups, our stay was clean, quiet, and genuinely enjoyable. We highly recommend Eldorado Hotel & Spa for both locals and tourists!

Great location, needs some TLC

The location is great, which is why we booked it. When we got to our room, there was a weird smell. We figured out the fridge was full of leftovers from the last guest, which was gross. We had just enough time to rest before the concert we were attending but it sounded like 5 people were loudly cleaning the rooms around us. The room itself just had a big open space that I'm assuming once had a couch because it was suppose tp sleep 4 and only had 1 king bed. The decor is very out dated. You would expect it to be nicer for the price.

Great location

Perfect location comfortable rooms. Only downside was they were painting the entire floor we were on. The smell and furniture location due to the painting wasn’t the best. Fortunately couldn’t smell it in our room. Bathtub did not drain, stood in water while showering. Had a shirt taken with towels by housekeeping, never returned. Super friendly staff. Loved the attached restaurant. Excellent service. Would book it again if no construction or repairs happening.

The hotel and staff were nice. What i didnt care for was when i turned the shower and found the drain was clogged. Called front desk. They sent maintenance. They 2 guys spent 45 minutes in the bathroom pouring draino down the drain. Only to tell me i can try it again in about 30 minutes... at this point i said forget the shower and went to bed as i had a long day on the road and it was 9pm. Got up early the next morning and checked out.... paid well over 200 for the night and couldn't even take a shower. BTW in the morning it was still clogged. No discount or anything. Just a full charge and a "sorry for the inconvenience ".... I'll stay elsewhere next time.

Very nice stay in March. Staff is courteous and helpful. Restaurant is good but plenty of local places just outside that you’ll want to visit. Valet parking included was nice.

Was my husbands 60th birthday and after a long day of traveling and making a note that this was a special weekend - to please do you best to give us a great room we were put into a room akin to motel 6. Very run down, old furnishings dirty bathroom view of back of building. I immediately told the front desk this was unacceptable. Very nice front desk man said he would change our room. I asked for a quiet high floor room w a view and he put us in a room looking at a wall near the pool - all we heard were screaming children for the next 2 nights. I complained again and on the 3rd night they finally accommodated us and gave us a nice room on the 5th floor that I had been asking for but we only had it for a few hrs and had to check out early am so it was a waste. Some positive/ needs work- very nice people work here and are doing their best but just did t get the importance of this trip. The hotel lobby is impressive and the renovation on the 5th floor is nice but stay away from the 2nd floor. It’s run down/ paper thin walls/ very noisy and 1/2 the rooms look at a wall screen and you feel like you are in solitary confinement. For the cost of rooms this hotel needs to do better. The location is excellent very close to everything Santa Fe.
