Restaurant was closed for remodeling and no notice about that. Also, toilet very old and very low AND the toilet seat finish was wearing off! So inexpensive to update to taller toilet and VERY inexpensive to at least get a new toilet seat

Great property, comfortable bed, great staff. Only draw back was the room was really small, it was just a place to lay your head at night. Not really enough room to even walk around. Hotel was very basic. Had a bar with a small restaurant, not really much else. Was really safe and was located in a great area to walk around the old downtown area. It was smack dab right in the middle. Was a good time but probable wouldn’t stay here again due to the small size of the room. Could basically lay in bed, watch tv, and try to squeeze around the bed to get to the bathroom. Shower took a while to warm up, the second person to shower gets all the warm water. Water wasn’t really hot. For the price, it was average, not over the top. Beautiful property and hotel, and safe. Not much else

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the beautiful and serene Hotel St. Francis from the amazing front desk/managerial staff (including Mr. Chavez, Jef, and Brandon aka “Dude”), to the convenient free valet service to the hotel’s exceptional location and proximity to Santa Fe’s main square including attractions, shopping and dining places. Throughout our stay, there was a spiritual ambience befitting a hotel with St. Francis in its name.

I am pleased with my stay, the staff was very nice and helpful. It is such a beautiful hotel, the beds and pillows are super comfortable. This hotel is right on the center for downtown Santa Fe. They offer valet parking, so you do not have to struggle looking for parking.

We enjoyed our five days in Santa Fe at the Hotel St. Francis. The downtown location is second to none, and the El Secreto bar is a gem. The people working the front desk are friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the odor coming from the sink, which is located a few feet from the bed. The hotel should find a deodorizer and warn guests about the fumes. We covered the drain with a washcloth, which helped. During our stay, we learned that sink odors in the historic district are common.

I have stayed at this hotel at least ten times. I like the location and parking. However, I have never been recognized as a frequent visitor nor even asked. I also had what must be one of the worst rooms in the hotel. Second floor looking at a huge fan and dirty wall on the other side of floor. The hotel and town did not seem busy so I find that odd. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were very nice.

Eventually I was able to stay at my favorite hotel in Santa Fé. I love the minimalist monochromatic Spanish Style. Bedding was comfortable and lush. Very convenient location. Hotel dining options not good but everything within walking distance, that said the quality of tea available in the lobby in the morning was perfect.

The alarm in the building next door started going off at 9:30 PM and blasted until 6:27 in the morning. The windows are paper thin so sleeping through that was not an option. The room was funky at best, the bathroom sink was in the bedroom, plopped against the wall. The TV screen was the size of a laptop monitor. The bathroom was barely serviceable. There is a way to install double-pane windows without messing with the historic look of the hotel, and with the noise around the hotel, they should do that.
