I have stayed at Inn of the Governors three times and will again. The rooms are authentically charming with Navajo-inspired rugs, Mexican tiles, silver tin mirrors and Southwest inspired furnishings. We are always warmly welcomed by the front desk. Breakfast in the cozy dining room is freshly prepared to order, a great way to start the day. Couldn’t be a more convenient location to the Plaza and Canyon Road!

Pros: Rare find. Close in. Clean rooms. No hidden fees, free parking, and a wonderful free breakfast. Rooms available with real wood fireplaces too. Cons: Bathrooms are tiny, there are not enough outlets near the beds, and there is no fire suppression system. I’ll stay here everytime I travel to Santa Fe. But I’ll bring my own multi extension cord next time 😉
