Our family loved this beach house and we canât wait to go back! It is beautiful, cozy and so clean. We loved the front porch and the location. It was quiet but also close to camp watercolor.
We absolutely loved our stay! Great location and community was beautiful and welcoming! Communication with the host was easy and informative. The house was perfect! The swing on the porch was our favorite spot to relax. The golf cart made things easy and we also rented bikes for the teenagers. We all loved it and will be back!
Loved the location and the house. We had to get creative with parking due to different schedules and arrival days. It would have been nice if bicycles were included in the package. We had to rent bicycles which wasnât too big of an expense. For the price of the rental I would have expected them to be included.
The only negative I have is the 9a.m checkout. We have rented in Watercolor for over 15yrs. Itâs never been 9a.m. The extra hour is huge when you have teenagers and allows for an easier departure, especially when traveling by an airplane. Other then that, the house was gorgeous and the whole experience was fantastic! Thank you!
Our family of 7 stayed in this home for a week and loved it! We have rented a few homes Watercolor but this was our favorite. The home is decorated beautifully and is tucked away in a quiet part of the neighborhood. The team was very responsive and communicated every step of the way. The only hiccup we had was we went to use the grill one of the nights and the propane tank was empty. There are not many extra blankets for bedding but tons of extra pillows. Even with those things, we would definitely rent this home again!
My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Miaâs Beach House! The home is beautiful, and in a fantastic location. We enjoyed our time on the front porch, and the golf cart was a great added bonus. We look forward to staying at the property again in the future!!
We had a great spring break at Miaâs Beach House. The house was beautiful, very clean and the golf cart was great for getting around. Location was great. The beds are very firm which was our only complaint since we prefer a bit softer. Other than that it was perfect and we will be back.
The house was perfect for our family that included two grandparents and two families. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The front porch was lovely as was the quiet back porch. We made frequent use of the golf cart to take leisurely drives or visit shopping, restaurants and pools. The frog pool is just a block away and is quiet and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals and the dining table was our gathering place at the end of our enjoyable days. Very nice laundry room too. House was very clean and the rental agents were very helpful. Highly recommend this property!
The home was lovely, clean and in a great location. This was our 9th year renting in Watercolor and first time with challenges.
The amenity bands we received did not work and it took three days to get replacements. The pools were great at being flexible with us however it took an extra amount of time each day to deal with it. Also, we were told by Watercolor that the mgt company could have picked up temporary bands even though it was the weekend, and they did not.
We did not have Wi-Fi until the afternoon on our last day (5th day). The mgt company said it was a Watercolor issue however we did not encounter any others having that issue and had several friends staying in Watercolor near us. The mgt co dropped off a new modem and said the internet company hooked it up however when we spoke to the internet company at our house on the 5th day, they said they were not there previously at the house. They also showed us the modem was hooked up incorrectly and was never programmed. We also had to stay at the house for everything to be fixed because the internet provider had to have someone present (and the mgt company didnât coordinate being there).
While the mgt company was responsive in text, they never solved a problem timely. Everything kept getting punted to the next day etc.
For the amenity band issue, they said they would refund the amenity fee since it took four days - however we did not receive our refund.
A few items that fall more on our family personally - the beds were extra firm which were uncomfortable to us and itâs the first time we rented in Watercolor where bikes were not provided. We did look back and see that in âthings to do in the areaâ it says you can rent bikes and since we had visited over 10 times we didnât read that section. You can rent bikes at the Boat House - it was just an additional expense and additional hassle on our vacation.
The home is absolutely lovely. It is even better than the pictures. The rooms are very spacious and everything was spotless. Plenty of towels and dishes. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Driving around the neighborhood was my favorite thing to do. My 2 year old woke up every morning asking to âgo golfingâ which meant she wanted to ride on the golf cart. We spent hours exploring the neighborhood and all of the lovely walking trails. The grounds are immaculate. The golf cart was so convenient and we never had to get back in our car after we arrived.
The pools were amazing! Our favorite was Camp Watercolor. My little one loved all of the slides and the many zero entry access pools. The beach is a good 10 minute drive on the golf cart but we enjoyed cruising through the neighborhood so it wasnât a big deal. Publix is very close to the house which is a major plus. We went to the downtown Seaside area several times and really enjoyed the restaurants and walking around.
The house is a 10/10, location 10/10 but the check in process was disappointing. VRbO site has checkin at 4pm and checkout at 10am. This was not the case. The actual checkin time is 4:30 and checkout is 9am. Pretty inconvenient and falsely stated. I received several emails explaining how busy the cleaning crew is and how one must be out of the house on time. One of the emails actually said they would make every effort to have the home ready by 4:30 but this wasnât always possible. In our case we didnât get inside until about 4:40pm which means we couldnât get our wristbands therefore we could not access any of the amenities. Once we got into the home we quickly forgot about the checkin processâŠ. Until checkout when we had a laundry list of tasks to completely before being out of the home by 9am
My husband and I rented this home for our family vacation with our 3 kids and his parents. We had plenty of room for everyone and the home was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located. The kids loved taking the golf cart out to dinner, exploring, and to the pools/beach.
The house is right around the corner from the "Frog Pool" and it was close enough to walk. We found this pool to be the least crowded and a fun place for a quick swim. Camp Watercolor is just a short 2 minute golf cart ride (or bike ride) away. My kids all LOVED the waterslides and lazy river! Golf cart parking is available in the parking garage at the beach access. The lot seems to fill up between 11am-1pm but mornings and later afternoon we had no trouble finding a spot. Great place, would definitely go back!
The house was great for our family (2 adults and 4 kids). Plenary of room to spread out. Loved the locationâit was our first time to stay in this district and loved being close to the basketball court and Camp Watercolor. House was as described, but the favorite spot was the hanging daybed on the screened porch. Would definitely stay here again!
Miaâs Beach House is by far our favorite house that we have rented in Watercolor. The property managers were attentive. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. And the golf cart was great to have. We will be back!
