Cute, comfortable little cottage

Perfect location - one block to beach access, and about four blocks to the central square. Two bikes are included, and 10% discount on extra bikes! We absolutely loved our stay and will return.

We have three small kids (3 yrs - 9yrs) and they loved the bedroom with the bunkbeds. The layout was excellent with plenty of room upstairs to relax and do what we needed to in the kitchen. The only minor issue was the lack of an outside shower to rinse off when returning the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect size house for a group of 4-6. A bunch of natural light through the many windows. Kitchen is small, but all you really need. The tub in the master bathroom is epic. The shower in the guest bath can be tricky to get out of. My Dad ended up getting stuck inside, but it did make for a funny vacation story. Overall great stay.

House was very clean. Had an issue with a toilet which was quickly repaired. Only one shower in the house and the doors are not easily opened once closed (notified management of this). Overall, a nice home in a great location.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love Seaside, but this year's experience with the cottage did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. There were tiny bugs in the kitchen, not enough towels for six people even though you asked how many people would be staying, the dryer took so long to dry that it was virtually impossible to have enough towels even if you washed, there were not enough kitchen cookware/containers for food prep, only a window to get out to the porch, no BBQ grill-so, we asked our neighbors if we could use their grill, and Paula said absolutely;however, security was called on my husband my another neighbor-absolutely ridiculous. The beach was wonderful and no complaints there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would like to start out by saying the location is excellent. Super close to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the seaside town center. The property was also very clean. The drawback is how this property is supplied. There was 1 dish towel and 1 washcloth in the kitchen. Zero potholders, 2 fry pans- 1 so small to cook a single egg and another that could fry 3 eggs- not helpful when you’re trying to make fajitas for a family. To get anything out of the oven you had to use the single kitchen towel. Pots and pans in general were lacking for any cooking. The mattress is the master is VERY firm. My husband likes a firm mattress and even woke up with bank pain daily. I like a softer mattress so I was in a lot of back pain for the week. If you are traveling across the country like we did and cannot pack beach towels, etc. then it is very difficult. They supply you with 2 beach towels. I asked if I could rent additional beach towels and they offered to charge me $25 a towel to purchase I ended up going to Walmart and paying $6 a towel since I was just leaving them there and didn’t want to add an extra suitcase to fly with beach supplies. Every beach house we’ve rented over the years were supplied with beach towels and chairs. Here they don’t and you can pay $500 to rent chairs/umbrellas for a week. That’s pretty insane. Again, I bought a couple of chairs and just let them there because it ended up way less expensive and I’m happy to carry a chair the 2 min walk to the beach. Overall the place is nice but just significantly lacking a lot of essentials.

Reviewer Comments: This is a nice house, but, and its a big but to us, while the description says there are two full baths (which I think the management company has since changed) there is only one shower and one tub. We were in Seaside with 4 teenage boys and two adults...with one shower. It is not ideal unless you have younger kids.
