Hotel Almasur is in a very nice neighborhood. It’s easy to walk and use public transportation. The hotel itself is really clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a full bar and dining options for all meals. We ate breakfast and dinner here and it was great. The room was clean and comfortable. We did use the air conditioner and the room temperature was very comfortable. Our trip to Chile included an unexpected and unfortunate event, and Hotel Almasur manager Cybill was extremely helpful and gracious. She was a kind and reassuring presence in our time of need. This kindness and service was tremendous and so appreciated.

The staff was helpful at all times. The food was superb--top notch! And the overall experience was very pleasant. I felt safe, and walking to the surrounding stores was easy. This is my third stay. This hotel is perfect for family travel or business. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. The restaurant staff is also always prepared to assist you and guide you. Walking distance to public transport. Pharmacies. Restaurants. Very safe neighborhood. Several diplomatic missions nearby. Excellent choice if you’re in Santiago.

Above and beyond customer service

I would like to commend whomever was working the front desk at 4am Sunday 7 September. Due to an overnight flight, I made a mistake and didn't actually have a reservation until 2pm that day. Although there were no rooms available she let me catch a few hours sleep on a couch in a lower level lobby. She also prioritized cleaning a room for me and I was able to check-in at 10am! I was so sleepy that I didn't catch her name, but I want her to be recognized for going above and beyond with customer service.

Excellent five night stay! Room I had was perfect - modern and spacious. I appreciated the separate sleeping area and kitchen. On-site restaurant and coffee shop also a bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is basic, clean and safe. Although they are eco/friendly they seem to have a lot of AC/heat going. Turned mine off in the room but room was still very warm. Also they changed the towels daily despite the signs saying they don’t.

The hotel is not for personal travel, as they are only looking to grab a deal for corporate clients. The male receptionist with the pony nail is especially rude and unhelpful. Doesn’t go over the details of the hotel, denied late checkout even when it was earlier accepted by another staff member, didn’t share the city tours and travels sheet with us since he only supposedly had one copy, lol. The pool was dirty and the drinking water caused us both diarrhea. Expedia advised 20% off on food and beverages, but the hotel staff blatantly declined that as well. In short, there are many similarly priced hotels in the area, save yourself with this one!
