Property manager Margarita was very rude. Hot tub didn’t work in room or spa and we paid for room with hot tub. We will not be back or recommend this resort.

The property and staff were great. The walk to and from the sights, restaurants, etc could be for some a challenge. I read in other reviews room size was an issue for my wife and I the room size was great. Ask, the staff if the jacuzzi is cold because ours was hot. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Overall a pleasant stay ***rent a car in Santorini and if you stay here they have parking. It can be a challenge the first time seeing the road so drive slow and when you see the small cannon it’s the next road to the right***

I didn't have a hot tub, but I had a heated pool, that was the perfect wnding to my evenings. The room was spacious and very clean, a powerful shower and I appreciated the safe too. I could watch the sunset from my terrace, which was amazing. Staff was friendly and at disposal. I would probably have liked a bit more privacy, as half of the people going to their room would have passed outside mine, but I would definitely stay again in the same room or in a couple of others I have seen.

Staff were all incredible, resort was small but spacious and beautiful. Room was excellent as was the breakfast. Only 10 mins walk into centre of Oia. Only slight negative was the walk was a bit steep on way into town centre... But downhill on way back to resort!

My Gucci sneakers and my friends sneakers got stolen from the room 17 where I was staying in Elea, their stuff got in the room to clean the it which wasn’t even clean by the time we came back, they literally came in to just changed the towels and take our belongings… Their excuse was that they thought the shopping bag was garbage. As we talk with the from desks, they were been rude, mean, avoidant, disrespectful and they didn’t provide any solution to the issue eventho they accepted the bag was taken by their stuff, they still didn’t let us know their names, they didn’t let us use their phones, they refuse to give us a report of the incident.

Americans should not stay here-- horrible service-- had to keep moving us for problems in room and then couldn't care less. Refused to let us speak to supervisor. Tried to intimidate us and then interfered with our private driver on a day trip. Paid $2000 to have them ruin our stay. Stay elsewhere.

The property was beautiful and clean. The options of 2 different pools and our own outdoor tub was amazing. The staff were helpful in arranging transfers and contacting our tour operators. It was far enough away from town to be quiet, but easily walkable for dinner and shopping. We highly recommended Elea!!

1/5 – Completely Misled by Ella Resorts and Let Down by Expedia We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Ella Resorts, specifically the Plunge Pool or Plunge Home accommodation. The booking was completely misleading. The photos on the listing clearly showed a modern, usable kitchen — which was one of the main reasons we booked this particular room. So we came fully prepared with food and supplies, expecting to cook and enjoy meals during our stay. To our shock and frustration, none of the kitchen facilities worked. The oven, stove, and microwave were all non-functional, and there were no kitchen utensils or appliances available to use. It was essentially a decorative kitchen — and completely useless. This was never made clear in the listing, and we believe we were misled by the marketing and imagery used. When we raised the issue with Expedia, all they offered was a £50 refund — which honestly felt like a slap in the face considering how much this impacted our trip. Between the false advertising from Ella Resorts and the inadequate response from Expedia, we felt completely let down. This experience ruined a significant part of our holiday. Future guests should be warned: do not trust the photos alone. If you’re expecting a usable kitchen, double and triple check in writing because the listing is not clear and the resort takes no accountability. This was our first time booking with Ella Resorts — and it will absolutely be our last.
