The house was just amazing. We did have a 3-year-old grandson with us. He enjoyed the toys. We all enjoyed the atmosphere all of the decor was eclectic and interesting. The pool and yard were beautiful we enjoyed the porch every night. They were five adults also. The house was very accommodating.
This was our first trip with our new baby and the house was perfect. We had enough space to maintain her routines and still enjoy ourselves. The house was really cute with lovely decorations. The pool and backyard area were really well kept and relaxing. We hope to stay again!
The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Location to everywhere we wanted to go was perfect! Ending our days in the nice warm pool was wonderful. House is a bit on the older side with a couple quirks but not a deal breaker. Host answered very quickly.
The home is beautifully decorated with comfortable rooms. Plenty of seating for everyone & room to spread out.My children enjoyed the pool while my Mom & I enjoyed coffee and wine in the outside seating areas.Centrally located, made going places easy.We would love to stay here again!
This house was absolutely wonderful. The decor inside really made it feel like home. The home was in a great location within a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely rent again.
Outstanding property! Excellent communication. All necessities and amenities at easy reach. Owner goes above and beyond! Highly recommend for the area.
The house was clean, mattresses were firm and had everything you would need in the kitchen. The pool was great but I didnât realize when booking that there wasnât anything to hold on to getting in and out of the pool which made it extremely difficult for my 91 year old mother. Great place to stay and quiet neighborhood.
We enjoyed our stay at the Moroccan bungalow! We stayed for a long weekend with a party of three adults & three children under the age of 7. The house was really accommodating in regard to supplies & function, & the backyard was our most favorite spot to hang out. Location is key. Less than 10 mins. to St. Armand's & a lot of other sweet spots. We can't wait to come back :)
The house was gorgeous, the pool and outdoor space was absolute perfection but the inside of the house had a few issues. No hot water in the master bathroom, lots of lights flickering in every room byt overall an amazing stay!
The property was lovely
We had a wedding to go to on the weekend which we could all get ready for with plenty of elbow room (5 of us).
Pool was such a nice bonus. We were in it almost every day of our
4 night stay. We had a spot to park in the driveway and more available if needed. We drove to Lido beach, spring training ball game, Ringling museum and wedding at the Ritz-all within a short distance driving.
Also visited Pine Craft Mennonite area-would do again in a heartbeat
We have rented many homes on the west coast of Florida, and this one is a new favorite!. We loved the large private pool area, the screened lanai and the gorgeous, eclectic decorations. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the house was in pristine condition upon arrival. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed.
The host reached out soon after check in to make sure we were pleased with the house and responded quickly to any questions throughout our stay.
We found the location perfect for us with Siesta Key and Lido Beach nearby, but ended up spending a few afternoons by the heated pool instead!
We would definitely love to rent this property again!
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Hurricane Milton
I loved the property, but there was no warning about the hurricaine or mandatory evacuation. We found out on tv and our friends. Only 10 percent refund! Ill never rent from this company again. Safety should be first!first.
We loved the home and the location was close to everything that we needed and enjoyed.
The home was beautiful and unique--we loved having the pool as the children were entertained by the pool endlessly.
The little toys in the home, and pool toys, were wonderful to have. The design of the home was beautiful and something we will not forget. The only two things that were problematic were water related---the master shower did not work at all. The swimming pool did not seem salt water treated as we have used salt water pools so that was questionable. Neither were a big deal for us, but may bother some guests.
The outside back property could use some cleaning up. There were broken items along the back on the house by the grill. The umbrella couldn't be used because the base was broken. The air conditioning could not keep up with the heat. During the day it was warm in the house, and it wasn't until about 2 in the morning that it would cool down. The master bathroom shower couldn't be used because the drain wouldn't drain. Nobody came to fix it during our stay even though I notified the property managers.
The house is situated conveniently close to the airport in a Mennonite community. The house was nicely decorated and rated for six people. There wasnât hot water enough for even two people to take a shower back to back - very disappointing. The windows have see through, thin curtains which made you feel on display for the neighborhood. Very much needed blinds or something that provides privacy. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were either rock hard or flat. The dishwasher silverware holder did not stay shut and made using it a pain. Needs repair. Loved the pool area.
Great location. Lovely backyard. Well-stocked kitchen.
Pros: This was great for our five night stay. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Plenty of pillows. Kitchen had what we needed for our meals. Nice spaces for hanging out. Pool in good shape. We hung out in the backyard a lot. Plenty of towels- bath and pool. We spent a day at the beach and they had three chairs, an umbrella and coolers and beach bags. (Our family who stayed in other VRBOs in the area had none of that.)
Cons: no blankets for beds just a sheet and a super thin covering that Iâm not sure is washed between guests. There were small blankets/throws but they smelled bad and so we didnât use those.
Overly decorated. We had to move stuff just to be able to have table/bathroom space for our things.
But this is also some of the charm of the place.
Pool was heated to 90. Outside temp was about 85 so it felt like getting in a warm bath. I asked if we could get it turned down and was told I needed to tell them three days before- which of course, I had no way of knowing the pool would be that high. Low 80s seems like a better pool temp once weather is so warm.
When we arrived, all of thr outside pool lounger cushions were ripped and dirty/almost moldy. I let manager know so that we werenât faulted for that. We flipped them over and it was fine. But a weird first impression.
We enjoyed relaxing in this home (not too far) away from home. The weather cooperated so we were able to enjoy the pool all afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and fresh.
