The place was very comfortable, with everything that our family needed. Convenient location, close to wedding we attended at Marie Selby Gardens. The host was very responsive when a storm knocked out power temporarily, and the situation resolved quickly. We would definitely book this again.
Clean and cozy, as described, great communication with property owner, very accommodating to our needs, including early check-in, property close to everything, beaches, and fine, dining and shoppingâŠ. thank you again. See you in February.
It was my first visit to Sarasota where we held a family event. Great location to restaurants, beaches and shops. Property is well appointed and as advertised. Chris is a kind and communicative host. Thumbs up from everyone during our stay
The place was wonderful, convenient, clean, and peaceful. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We recommend this place 10/10!
Stayed here for a few nights celebrating my brothers wedding. We were able to walk to the venue of the Selby Gardens. Great location close to parks, coffee, and restaurants! Easy and smooth check in process and the house was stocked with all essentials. Also has the softest bath towels, had to come home and buy some of that same brand! Thanks again
This is the third time we have stayed here and have a great time every time. It is a spacious home in the perfect location. Close to downtown but quiet and safe neighborhood.
Excellent property in the charming Laurel Park district
We were totally happy with this vacation rental. All its features were as advertised, including the private backyard with grill and fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary tools and utensils (we think we counted four(!) blenders -- probably overkill unless you're seriously into margaritas). A key feature was the immediate neighborhood. Laurel Park calls itself Sarasota's artistic district, and that shows up in the delightful architecture of surrounding homes. Just strolling around the adjoining streets was a pleasure. The house itself is on a quiet cul-de-sac, so virtually no traffic. We'd also give it top marks for overall cleanliness.Generally when I review things I like to find at least one nit to pick, but it's not obvious what that would be. If I had to I'd point out that, while downtown is walkable, it's probably a fifteen to twenty minute stroll. But we always found it easy to drive -- Sarasota's parking is cheap and convenient. All in all, this rental perfectly filled our travel needs. We'd be happy to recommend it.
Nice attached home in the pleasant old but gentrifed downtown neighborhood of Laurel Park. We were able to walk safely almost everyplace we waned to go, including shops and restaurants galore. The home has nice amenities, such as a nice kitchen, large gas barbecue, and big living-room/dining area. One quirky feature not clear in photos is the third bedroom which is glassed in and intrudes on the living space and passage to the backyardâmaking things awkward for more than 4 adults.
We (my husband, my 2 adult kids and I) enjoyed our stay in Sarasota. I liked the neighborhood. It was easy to reach all the busy places and yet quiet with cute houses. Great location! The kitchen was great for those that might prefer to make some of the meals home. Beds were comfortable. The backyard and small porch were nice additions. There is a bedroom between living room and access to the backyard but that caused no inconvenience for us. The living room setup was nice to spend time together. We enjoyed our rounds of card games. Thank you Chris and Joanna.
We hoped we would get lucky with the weather but we had to leave early due to Hurricane Milton. The house is lovely and we enjoyed the time we did have there. Chris was great with keeping us updated on the weather, just in case we missed it.
Cute place located in a historic district in the heart of downtown. I could jog from the house to the waterfront park and enjoy the view on my jog- a big bonus! Loved their welcome book. It had lots of great info about the area. You do have to walk through a bedroom to access the backyard but as one of my kids slept in this room it wasnt a big deal.
