Was contacted by Jennifer (very nice) THE DAY before we were to travel 4 hours. She informed me that the room was unavailable because it failed inspection and had to move me to another hotel. Jennifer tried her best but the whole experience was very inconvenient. Was put into another much smaller room and much noisier hotel for the same price. I know her hands were tied and not her fault but after trying to contact hotels.com for day with no response Iâm left very disappointed in the website that guarantees everything under the sun. I plan on staying at the ambler in the future because of Jennifer but probably will not go through hotels.com because of their empty guarantees
This property is not open and still under renovation. We were not aware until we arrived. Do not make a reservation through Expedia unless youâve confirmed with the property that they are open
