They were small but included everything we needed. Even tv cable small fridge, bath was clean enough as was the tube. There is a mildewy smell but its basically a shed made into two flats... with ac on it wasnt noticable. The sheet and such all were clean fresh.. for knight night it was fine.
Love the Round Lake area. Quiet & reasonably convenient to Saratoga. Innkeeper bent over backwards to accommodate us regarding check-in; check-out, etc. No complaints & would recommend to others--especially during high season at the track.
We went for a concert at SPAC. It was okay. The room was dated (no big deal to us). The main problem was it had a smell that I can't really explain, I would have to say like a really really old smell. The cost was good compared to other options and the service was friendly.
We were not given a wifi code, were charged an extra person fee (for 2 adults and a child?) and the air conditioner blew the circuit in the middle of the night when it was 90 degrees out. The room was clean and the beds were not bad but i was disappointed.
We were attending a Zac Brown concert in Saratoga. All the major hotels were booked and we found this one on Expedia. It was a decent room and the beds weren't too uncomfortable but were nothing to brag about. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way and the floor of the room sloped to one side. It fulfilled the need.
We stayed here while attending the Luke Bryan concert and Saratoga Race Track. It's the perfect place to head back to after a long day. Quiet, comfortable and clean. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a quaint, adorable, friendly place to wind down and get a good nights rest. It's close to everything- restaurants, Stewart's (like a wawa), the performing arts center, the track, cvs, a grocery store. I'd stay again.
This is quintessential summer vacation lodging from back in the day. The smell of humidity of the Hudson valley is all around. Quiet, in the woods, near everything. Consciencious staff. And cookout on numerous grills looking at Round Lake.
The owners are very friendly and helpful; I particularly appreciated help with the barbecue pit. The room interiors are very old with lumpy mattresses and it's hard to run a lot of devices on the grid. There is a nice fishing lake and launch nearby and the town is very scenic and cute. Since the motel is on Route 9, it's very easy to drive to Saratoga Springs.
I found this motel by complete accident and now it is me and my friends' go-to whenever we will be in the area. The rooms are older looking as far as furniture goes but I think it was very quaint. Everything was very clean and located fairly close to eateries and things to do. The owner is a very nice woman who made us feel welcome, offered great recommendations, and good conversation. She checked in with us daily to see how we were doing and if there was anything she could do. Honestly I can't recommend this motel enough, especially at such a great value!
Right across street from small lake, great for kayaking. Good restaurant nearby, within walking distance if walk by main highway. Hotel was older but room very clean and service excellent. Small seating area outside where can sit, bbq, and enjoy partial lake view. Very nice stay, comfortable, clean and within short driving distance to area attractions.
