Very convenient location for taking the Agawa Canyon train tour. Apartment was clean and bed comfortable. Neighborhood was rather busy late into the night.
We felt welcome, (thanks for treats!), a cozy comfortable place so clean and decorated with taste. We found everything we needed and more. The guest guide had so many useful information. Host was very responsive, immediately answered phone when contacted.
Cozy apartment. Was perfect for what we needed! The only drawback was that there was quite a lot of street/outdoor noise that could be very clearly heard even with all the windows and doors closed. We still were able to get a great night of rest despite the noise because we were exhausted from travel, but under different circumstances, it may have been hard to sleep through the noise.
We had some initial confusion with our booking that we did get taken care of. The apartment is very cute & had everything we needed. While the listing states downtown we have never been to the city. We were a little surprised when we arrived to the house that there was someone recovering on the stoop. This is definitely an urban area. We didnât have any issues after that. Itâs convenient to the Agawa train station & hockey stadium, but not as walkable as we thoughtâno neighborhood grocery store. The neighbors we met were lovely. Itâs a transitioning neighborhood that has great potential.Overall it was a very nice apartment and did work out for us.
Luke was super with communication. The place was fantastic with all the comforts we needed. The locking system was very simple. Only scary part were the homeless that were going around. Did not realize it was a very run down area. Very shady part of the town. The property by itself was doing well. Extreamly clean with very good co-tenants. Most of them wanting to go on the Agawa Train. The community needs to be revitalized. A tip also for folks driving from Toronto be very careful with the driving. The roads are very winding and speed limits have to be followed to the core to avoid toppling the SUV.
In Sault Ste Marie for the Provincial Ringette Championships
It was close to arenas - easy to get to. Parking was tricky with 4 vehicles but manageable. Thought there was a hot tub but maybe meant the tub in the bathroom! Overall would book again!
The apartment is in an established neighborhood and on the second floor. Large one bedroom with sufficient kitchen for our stay. My mother used the bedroom and I slept on the futon that I have to was my best night sleep in our two week road trip. Easy location to other amenities in the area and parking was a breeze. Clean and efficient apartment and my only comment is the stoop to enter the apartment needs a redo as the first step is too short and for my mother a little tricky to step up or down. Owner was very communicative and made our stay very welcoming.
The owner of this property provided exceptional communication and was very accommodating in changes that I needed to make.
Although in an older building, the apartment has been recently renovated with new floors, cabinets, kitchen appliances, etc. It wasn't cramped as some rental can be.
I have already recommended this listing to others.
A very nice stay at a centrally-located property in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. It was well-appointed and warm (ours was a January stay). It's an upper-floor unit and so those with mobility issues should be aware. As well, you could need to move your vehicle for snow-plowing if staying in Winter. Overall, a very clean comfortable spot!
