At first, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the house given pets (up to 2) were allowed. The location is OK but nothing special. We got there Sunday afternoon to find a note from the maintenance person saying that the kitchen lights were not working. He will pick up a switch and come to replace the next day and left a phone number. Also, the photos show 4 dining chairs. There were only 3 for our party of 4 (there were only 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter) so one of us cannot sit with the family comfortably at mealtime. I called and texted Monday morning and was told that Vacasa will call the local office and let me know when the 2 issues will be resolved. Monday came and went... Tuesday am... I tried to contact the local office of Vacasa, and the maintenance person at the phone number that he left. No updates, no resolution. I was forced to cook in the dark Sun, Mon, and Tues. I asked for a supervisor. Tuesday 9 pm, the night manager, Kristin at the main office in Oregon called. She was very nice but she, too, had problems getting answers (We rented the place to celebrate Thanksgiving and needed the lights to cook and the chair to be able to enjoy a nice family dinner). On Wednesday, we left the cabin around 12:00 pm and nothing had been fixed and no chair. When we got back around 5:00 pm, we found the kitchen lights fixed (with the old switch left on the kitchen counter) and a broken chair along with another broken chair with a lamp on it and some light bulbs. I was told that the company is willing to credit me the cleaning fees, which in itself is insulting gesture but even better, it is now 2 weeks and no credit has been given. It is now a joke so I texted Vacasa (which is apparently their preferred mode of communication) and was told that they will look into it. As I am writing this review, no credit nor answer has been given.
