The home was cute. This was our first time in Savannah. We brought our 2 Morkies with us. There was a dog park close by. The issue was the locals there don't always use leashes walking in the neighborhood. Several times we encountered this coming out. I did not feel that was a safe area to walk my dogs. Also, not close to historic areas. I don't mind walking the 25 to 30 minutes to get there, but if you don't have the trolly pass, you are in for an extreme amount of walking. Parking and driving was insane. Next time we would stay closer to town. Home is on a very busy, noisy street as well and with bedroom very close to the street, it's noisy all hours.
The thing I disliked the most about this one, we've stayed in many, was the lack of supplies. They make it clear in the contract, if you run out you buy your own. 2 one ounce bottles of 2 in 1 shampoo and 2 one ounce slivers of bar soap for a 5 day stay is not enough
Especially when there is no hand soap provided at all. We had to use dish soap which they gave us plenty of. I guess they wanted to make sure we could do the dishes. We were trying to use the toliet paper sparingly as we only had 3 rolls,, but it was very thin and didn't go far. They only gave you one towel per person. I suggest you bring your own as theirs are very coarse. They had a cabinet that had a latch on it to possibly lock. I looked in it and saw a check list. Looks as though they used to provide things for your stay but no longer do. The other thing was the TV and internet. It was horrible. We were only able to watch TV sporadically but never made it through a show. I did call and she thought it might be the weather. It was horrible service and very frustrating. Just felt like things could be better and definitely with supplies for what we paid. Would not recommend, would not go back.
