Was very convenient location. Set up was good for 4 of us. One bedroom does get road noise on weekends but convenience to City Market and river were worth the tradeoff. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near.
The bedroom closest to the street was incredibly loud and I got a bunch of unsolicited marketing texts from the host. But, overall, it was an excellent location and a fine place to sleep.
The loft was really nice and in a wonderful location. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do and see. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The only issue we had was with street noise from the one bedroom that faced a major street.
Not the best Iâve stayed at. Great location/ noisy because itâs right where you want to be. Big night time crowds. Everything is within walking distance. 24 hr parking garage right across the street. Very well maintained except for the bathrooms. Maybe they havenât gotten to the showers yet. Wood floors are beautiful and may be original. Unfortunate there are several nail heads exposed that poke (not puncture) bare feet and snag on socks. We enjoyed are stay and the rate is worth itâs value. Beautifully decorated.
The location was PERFECT, but with a perfect location comes noisy nights as bars close and people spill into the streets. Loud car music, loud people, etc. led to no sleep for two of the guests. If you're a heavy sleeper and/or will be part of a crowd that is out late at night, this is the perfect spot for you. Everything is walkable! Wexler's corned beef sandwich is the best! Vinny Van Go Go pizza good, but closes at 11PM. Drinks to go make shopping a breeze.
The place we stayed was realy nice. The directions for getting in were very easy and clear. The location was great, right at City Walk and an easy 2 block walk to the Tour Trolley. In the apartment was listed some restaurants and activities whick was helpful. The only thing that bothered us, not to do with the apartment, was 1 night the motorcycles and people were very loud until after midnight, we both had to sleep in the back bedroom. The other nights were fine. Parking is not convenient, we had to unload and load the car in an alley, their were no parking spots on the street. We parked in a parking deck 3 blocks away. There is no elevator in the building, it was hard lugging our cooler and suitcases up a flight of stairs.
Weâve been to Savannah numerous times and rented several vacation units. We would not stay here again. There are many other places in the same price range that are far nicer.Pros: Very easy walking access to dining, shopping and the historic district.Cons: Absolutely filthy common entrance to the units. There were several maintenance issues in the apartment: many broken fixtures, very dirty carpet, the shower in the jack-and-jill bathroom had so little water pressure that we didnât use it. Terrible mattresses. And although the location is convenient, it is INCREDIBLY noisy. The walls of the units are so paper thin we could hear every word being spoken in the apartment next door at night and the street traffic felt like it was happening right inside. This would probably be fine for a bachelor or bachelorette party and anyone looking to party late at the nearby bars, but that wasnât us.
