We decided to stop New Yearâs Eve night in Savannah to break up the trip from Florida to North Carolina. Listing was described as having a king bed and two twin beds. The two twin beds ended up being two fold out cots. Nowhere in the description could I find that they were cots and BARELY enough room to open them. We donât normally complain and donât really write poor reviews but this one felt scummy. We felt duped. Since we couldnât check in until 4 we felt like it was too late to move on, but at dinner we just decided to head on home. By no means are we too good to âcram inâ, but we just felt so icky about the situation weâd rather just sleep in our own beds. So we turned a 12 hour drive into a 21 hour travel day with a delicious dinner in Savannah.
Place was old, but clean, which is what you want in Savannah, but it absolutely does not have two true twin beds. No matter what the listing says.
Weâll have to see what Expedia says about it from here.
Everything was wonderful at the suite - large fridge with ice maker, reasonably equipped kitchen, full washer & dryer.
I don't watch TV, so I can't comment regarding the TV/cable equipment in the living room and bedroom.
In other reviews the "upstairs neighbors" were loud, but I didn't notice anything in particular.
It was a very sweet, clean, peaceful visit for me.
The unit was clean and functional. Loved that we had a kitchen and washer/dryer. Location seemed sketchy with what looked like a projects building across entrance. Entrance to unit was directly on street with no sidewalk protection. Unit was not centrally located but Price was great. Overall liked our stay and may do it again.
