I was a bit disappointed with front of the front-of-the-house staff's focus. Upon arrival, I was stuck in the car due to a car blocking the roundabout, and the same thing occurred on the day I left for the airport- the Uber driver had to back out of the driveway. The staff did not acknowledge my presence, as they were too busy talking quite loudly to their colleagues. I had to get a downgrade because I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor. Where the bedroom window aligns with the street and road pavement. And yet my billing was not adjusted. When I shared that I would not prefer to be that close to the ground as a safety issue, I felt the staff could not care about my safety, and I needed to negotiate to get a room I felt safe in.

I paid extra for a river view room. They gave me a partial view room. Very disappointed. Certain desk staff were cold and indifferent. I won’t stay here again. Will be staying with their neighbor. Thanks.

Well I paid extra for a city view, I guess my city view was of the side walk and the hotel next door. Then they are currently putting up a flood fall behind the hotel which means they started at 8am with the drilling, so no sleeping in.

We were disappointed to be on the 2nd floor and only one window in our suite had a river view. The windows in the sitting room and bedroom looked out on traffic and cars speeding through late into the evening was disturbing.

Very disappointed

Our reservation for a 2 queen suite with balcony was unavailable when we checked in 10/17/2025. The desk agent Manny hustled us to a building next door while my sister pushed the luggage cart behind us. The only thing we were told was this other front desk would help us … then Manny disappeared. The new hotel did not have a suite and we now needed to pay the nightly rate of their choice for a regular room. No mention of a refund from Homewood Suites was mentioned and now there’s 2 hotel charges on my credit card. The next day we went back to talk to Tiffany, the manager at Homewood. She knew nothing about our situation. Eventually we were given future 2 complimentary nights and her sincere apology for the situation which is a great step towards making things right.

Breakfast menu fresh. Nice views of the city and river. Excellent hotel for families. Staff and services/amenities were great. Will definitely come back. The parking was a bit pricey. And I only wish that the industrial/transport trucks would have an alternate route that’s away from the city and hotel, as the engine noise was very loud at times.
