What an absolute gem of place. Traveling with family and especially extended family is never an easy thing. There is usually a hiccup here and there but when I tell you the travel was COMPLETELY WORTH IT once pulling up to Tulu Azul. And that is a complete understatement. The property is outrageously gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for. Not to mention that the owners and our house manager Steven were sweethearts and EXTREMELY accommodating. We had an issue with a rental car and Steven and his team went above and beyond to help us figure things out to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Word of advice, please listen to their suggestions. It’s best to just let them do what they do best. We wanted to stay so much longer and hope that one day soon we can return to this majestic place. House was immaculate., views were something right out of heaven. The driving distance to Dominical, Uvita, Quepos and most of the fun stuff in the area is pretty much a straight shot down the highway. But please make sure it’s a good 4x4! You will need it and it will be worth it. My only regret is not staying longer. Coming back to New York during a snow storm was a total bummer. Highly recommend this piece of heaven.
