This is a basic hotel in a fantastic location. If you want to spend lot's of time in your room then probably go elsewhere - it's not Hotel du Vin. It however, comfortable, clean and friendly. Good breakfast and great host.
The room was small had to squeeze past the end of bed, few cobwebs on light and roof mattress not comfy said on website there was a bar, which is not open now, breakfast was good and nice staff
The hotel is 5 mins from the centre of Seahouses, a lovely walk along the coast with views of Bamburgh Castle and the Farne islands, the centre of Seahouses is picturesque and quaint with several good places to have something to eat and drink.
We had a very nice stay in the Beech House Hotel and felt really at home, our room had everything we needed and was lovely and warm even though it was cold outside being January. We had prepared for us a full English breakfast that we could order the day before for a time that suited us.
Malcolm the hotel owner is a really friendly man and would happily make the time for any information required or just to have a chat.
We drove quite a bit to other places in the area. The roads are very good and well signed. This was our first time to Northumberland and we really enjoyed our visit.
This is a lovely hotel and in amazing area with beautiful views. The owner is a true gem. I was delayed getting there but he left a note and phone number for me to contact him when I arrived. He also went out of his way to accommodate by dietary allergies and made sure I was able to have something for breakfast which I would be requiring before normal breakfast service. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.
