Overall, the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly. Everything was clean. Problem. Number one was the handicap room. You could not get my husband’s wheelchair around in it. Problem number two my key did not work on any of the doors other than my room the last day of my stay. Problem number three the beds were way too soft and way too high up, especially for a handicap person.

On arrival might check in by the two ladies at the front desk was wonderful, they made everything easy they will explain as far as how to get to my room, brought my service dog and he was welcomed as well, made us feel very good to stay here.... Rooms were also very clean neat and tidy and all staff were very very helpful and yes I would be staying here again if I come to town... Even the baseball team kids high school age that were in the motel were very courteous to other guests as well.....

I wanted to give this property 5 stars, because the room was super clean, and you could tell the staff paid extra special attention to the presentation. The bed and pillows were super comfortable as well. But here's the thing- I know I got a basic room (I was in 101)- but I could hear my neighbors talking... the WHOLE TIME. I'm not sure if the hotel was full- but their schedule conflicted with mine, which ultimately disrupted my sleep. Also, where this room was located was on the way to the check-in location (due to construction) and I heard suitcases being wheeled and any noise related to checking in into the night and early in the morning. I wanted to love this place- and if the room wasnt as clean and efficient as it was I would have rated my experience as a 2. I could have complained and asked for a new room, but I was exhausted from traveling. My advice if youre near that room, pack ear plugs or ask for them.

They are updating the lobby and slowly renovating rooms, but it is a bit tired looking overall. Also, the hours of the cafe should be reconsidered, they close at 11am til 4pm, meaning if you are hungry you have to leave the property to get something to eat.

Enjoyed the stay even though our heater wasn't working and the Carbon Monoxide battery died. Little scary at first. However, this was our best coastal experience without a doubt.
