Four of us were traveling from the East coast to meet up with 2 more that live near Seattle. Seaside seemed to be a perfect town for us and we loved the photos of the home. Rented- flights booked- done!
The home was everything we needed plus some. So well equipped with games, puzzles, every kitchen appliance and gadget needed, plus baby gates, etc. I quickly fell in love with what we named “the reading nook” on a comfy chaise. We watched movies and explored GOONIES and Free Willy sites, hiked near Echola and of course visited Haystack Rock. I had 7 glorious days with my husband, our two adult children and their significant others plus one grand pup. We cuddled up in blankets and watched the rain- we cooked fresh seafood and listened to music on all of the tech gadgets.
**we are from the Deep South (Georgia) where summer temps and humidity are brutal so I was quite worried about the absence of AC, which we know is common in the PNW. Luckily, in May we didn’t need it. We needed sweatshirts and raincoats. But the days when the sun appeared, it was breathtaking to watch sunsets from the top balcony. This home will forever and always hold a special place in our heart as it was our first official family vacation of 6 adults! I would not hesitate at all to recommend to all ages! The ONLY concern (if elderly or struggle with steps) is that the main living, kitchen, are upstairs. But, the photos and descriptions clearly depict all of that well in advance.
