Very clean, bright property. I felt safe as a single female traveling alone. Great communication with the owner regarding any hiccups with check in. Would stay again for sure!
The cottage was clean and modern located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. It was an easy check-in process; in addition, the cottage has a one-car garage, so parking was not an issue. The decor was organic, cohesive, very 'Crate & Barrel'; the cottage had several large windows giving the place a diaphanous and serene feel. Magnolia Court was near coffee shops, local restaurants and Trader Joes. The Kitchen was modern with a five-burner stove- everything was bright and clean, overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
Our stay at the cottage was perfect in every way! The place is immaculate and beautifully furnished, wonderful view and quiet & safe neighborhood, the price was reasonable, parking was in a locked garage, thereâs everything you could possibly need in a short walking distance, and there were plentiful bathroom, bedroom, kitchen supplies. Thereâs even a full kitchen and a pull-out sofa bed. Weâll definitely be back again.
Location is fantasic! The house is cute. Check in was easy and it was wonderful to have parking. Walked to Saturday market and bars, coffee shops. Quick walk to amazing views.
Bathroom was not well stocked and a little worn. Towel holder was not secure, no bath mat, door stopper laying on the floor. One 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no backups. No complimentary coffee, and almost no paper towels.
This is not a reflection on the place, just felt they did a rush turn over and forgot a few things.
Overall good experience.
Pros - Has a lot of potential to feel homey and quaint. Great neighborhood and great privacy. The appliances are beautiful, bathroom is nice and the Garage space is outstanding. You can tell the owner took time to make it look really friendly and modern. Super cute place.
Cons - weird thing - The kitchen sink was sloped down and detached from the kitchen counter from the underside making us leery of using it because we didnât want water to splash into the cupboard underneath. Contacted property manager- they said theyâd have someone come by the next day, but call first. 24 hours later no one ever called so I reached out again and they said the local manager knew of it and was waiting on a part.
Heads up, though cute, the bed is pretty uncomfortable. The comforter set out for us was not adequate so we needed another layer. The additional bedding was absolutely disgusting - blood stains, giant brown stain and mascara. Made us question cleanliness. One bath towel was nice the other super cheap and didnât dry at all, found a spare in the closet, but again taking from the additional stuff made us question after the comforter experience. This property has a property manager and we let them know immediately, but they just said theyâd let the regional cleaning team know. Nothing more came of it. The couch itself is also a little gross as itâs white.
Property was very clean, nice layout, quiet, and only 10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Beautiful walking area and neighborhood. Nice lighting and plenty of clothing storage space. It is as pictured on website.
Kitchen is small and clean, but not designed for those who want to cook...as minimal counter space. It would have been helpful to have a toaster, a couple of new pans/pots (non-stick coating on both pans chipped), and a shelf or two for non-perishable food items.
Worth noting - it is not an easy place to find and found directions a bit confusing. This rental space is in the back yard of owner's home - so you have to access through an alley that runs between two streets. Once we did it a few times - no problem. If renting a vehicle on your trip to Seattle - suggest something smaller than an SUV as garage is quite small and angle to enter/exit garage is very tight due to narrow width of alley.
All in all ... a very nice place to stay.
The place is newly remodeled. We were able to meet with the owner. She was very nice and helped us checked in. There was no key in the outside lockbox from the garage. We could get in the yard because we couldnât reach the yard entrance/gate. We had to knock on the ownerâs doors. The first two hours of our stay did not have water running, it turned out the plumbers broke some pipes. I couldnât reach any customer service so we had to talk to the owner. This caused some delays for our itinerary but the owner was very accommodating and called the plumbers right away. Everything else is great. The cottage was clean, cute design, and the neighborhood was quiet.
This was a great little place. Didnât even hear or see the owners which was so nice! It truly felt private and secluded. Very short walk to a great little downtown area. Everything was new and clean. Downtown Seattle is only 5-6 min away. Just a heads up- they do have a coffee maker but no coffee. Might be my only complaint. Overall we enjoyed it!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was private, quiet and peaceful in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy access for many parts of Seattle. Clean and comfortable. Thank you.
I loved the location, very beautiful neighborhood to walk/run around. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities that I needed. Very comfortable as well. I tried to reach the property owner several times via the Vrbo site, but didn't get a response. I had issues with internet going out because of a power outage in the neighborhood and wanted to notify them and to let them know I checked out a day early. I never heard back from either message. Other than communication with property owner, the place was great and would highly recommend.
