Iâm not really sure this is a good property for people to stay at. Bags of trash in the front yard area, a trailer parked on the lawn, kitchen cabinet handles falling off, dishwasher didnât work, electrical cords strewn around the living room, old mattresses on the beds and air conditioners in the windows not allowing the blinds to be pulled down and keep the bedrooms dark.
This property had everything we needed and then some. Spacious with a terrific view and outdoor area, plus close to some truly delicious dining options.
My family and I had a great stay at the cozy home. There was more than enough space for all of us and a wonderful view. The host was great at communication regarding our questions and concerns. Overall a great place and I would be happy to stay again.
We needed a house to stay at near our friends house, for a friends gathering. It was a perfect place for the 4 couples to stay and share.Perks:Fully stocked kitchenlarge yard/deckmore that enough parkingbedrooms for all (and comfy beds too)everything you'd needbeautiful lake viewgreat price for all you getOnly 1 issue:The 1 TV was a struggle to operateOnly 1 Suggestion, but not necessary:The downstairs family room could be utilized better, game room? TV? Pool table?
We love staying in this comfortable house that welcomes our dog, has a nice view, is located in a walkable neighborhood, and you can easily get down to the lake if you are a bit ambitious.
Great location, well stocked with kitchen items and linens. The home is prefect for families that include young adults. Plenty of room to spread out, gather or just relax.
The house was easy to find. (The fact that it was right around the corner of Deja Vu was a nice landmark of where the house is and we found it quite hilarious). It was very spacious and the central air kept us warm and cozy. Kitchen utilities were very helpful. 5 out of 5 stars for property manager communication and rapid responce to our requests.
The space was ample for our group. The couch needs to be replaced, its sunken in and well used, a few cleaning supplies should have been nicely replenished but we didnt go without. The communication with property management was clear and punctual. Overall we were very satisfied.
Nice property. It could use more kitchen items as there was no cheese grater which I needed. The stairs are very dangerous. Both me and my husband did take a fall but we were okay. Very slippery and narrow. Otherwise it was very nice.
Our party of seven - four adults and two children was there for only one night. This property had plenty of room, was well furnished with older pieces, and all four bedrooms were more than adequate. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to downstairs two bedrooms and living area was via a fairly steep stairwell. Biggest issue was the lack of HVAC which made sleeping in the warm weather difficult, even with floor fans.
We had a group of us going to watch our daughter graduate from UW and the property worked out well for that. It is a good location convenient to most anywhere in Seattle or the northern part of the Eastside (Bothell, Woodinville, etc.). The neighborhood is nice with walkable access (although steep) to the Burke Gilman Trail and Lake Washington. The one thing that I would mention (and this is more on my reading the property description more closely), is the property sleeps 8 but only has 4 beds, so really only sleeps 8 if all of them can share beds. We had a different configuration and needed to have a couple people sleep on the couches/air mattress. Again, nothing about the property or the listing but just something to note on your party size. Overall clean and well appointed. Check in was smooth and the owners/support people were very responsive to issues. Would stay again if we ever need to bring a group back to Seattle. Also the BBQ grill is charcoal and there were briquets...but having grilled on gas for quite awhile I had to remember some little used skills!
We very much enjoyed our stay here. A word of caution especially at night is that there is an exposed stairwell to the lower floor in the hallway next to the bathroom, and someone looking for the bathroom in the middle of the night could easily take a wrong turn and fall down the stairs. We propped a broom in the doorway as a reminder and also kept a light on to keep people safe.
Our host Joanne was so kind and helpful through everything. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, although we did need a strainer but besides that. I loved how she had a piano downstairs and everything about the house was huge. The cleanliness and it really felt homey :))
The home layout is perfect for extended families, with living space, bedrooms and bathrooms spread out over two levels. The location is great for freeway access, as well as shops and restaurants nearby.
Let me start by saying the property manager earned an A+ grade. She was very responsive and worked with us to get a handyman to the house and issued a partial refund. That was very much appreciated. The issue was a clogged sewer line that appeared when the downstairs toilet was flushed the very first time and it backed up into the downstairs tub when using the plunger. Yeah, yuck! When the handyman couldnât fix it, we were forced us to make other arrangements for one of our family members and gently use the upstairs bathroom from that point on. This is clearly a problem that shouldnât be repeated for future guests, once the sewer line is cleared by a professional plumber.
