Family Friendly

We had a very nice stay with 3 adults and 2 toddlers. Room was clean, breakfast was good and accessible. The pool area could do with an upgrade, but it was good enough as we were the only visitors there. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the smell of cigarettes in the hallways. There was no smell in the rooms, so it was a temporary annoyance - but very noticeable. Location was perfect for day trips to Tacoma and Seattle.

Furniture was filthy. There was a hole in the tub that they covered with tape. Oh, btw. I was messaged about this about a week before I was supposed to stay, but they also charge a $17.99 resort fee per night. Supposed to include their crappy wi-fi, pool, and breakfast (which is nothing spectacular). This stuff used to just be included with the base rate.

I stayed on the night they were switching over to a new hotel name. So, it was a bit muddled and everything was being done by hand. It was a bit of a wait, but the staff was friendly and helpful and apologetic.

Took two hours for the airport pick up. They told me they would be there earlier, and even took down my number. But when they didn’t show, I called and they were like…sorry we’ve been busy. We will be there later. You already had my number. If it’s actually going to be a TWO HOUR wait, shouldn’t you have called me back to inform me??? Also, just FYI the shuttle isn’t available 24hr as advertised on their own wall sign but actually starts at 7am. When I called the hotel, I was placed on hold for 10-15 minutes. This happened not once but twice The carpet on the 5th floor looks old dirty and disgusting. And the ice machine was also broken. The only positive was that the room was very spacious and clean. Now I know why this place is so cheap.
