Seattle Beautiful View

We spent a week in Seattle moving our daughter to the area for her college internship. This location was perfect for people who want to explore Seattle while having the peace of mind in staying in a nice safe neighborhood. We did have a car, and this location was close to everything in both directions and comes with a designated parking space. Short drive to downtown coupled with short drive to neighborhoods just north of the property including Fremont and Ballard. These are great neighborhoods for shopping and weekend farmer's markets. I would recommend staying here. We really enjoyed the rooftop in the mornings and in the evenings. This was our view in both directions. Thank you Laura for making it a nice stay.

Beautiful location and views!!

A perfect stay! We are five adult girlfriends on a girls weekend and this place was amazing! Gorgeous views of the lake from the main living area and rooftop. Beds were soooo comfortable. Firm and soft at the same time. Can’t say enough great things about this VRBO. Excellent location close to Pike’s Place Market and ferry boats. Even has a view of the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. We rented a car and were glad we did. Explored Bainbridge Island and downtown Seattle, along with the space needle and Chihuly garden. Overall we had a fantastic long weekend and loved our morning views and cool morning walks down to the walking trail by the water.

Weekend to remember

Absolutely lovely property! Everything is on point - location, scenery, rooms and amenities. We had a group of four and instead of stressing about traffic and travel time we were able to get an Uber and we were on our way. Fantastic location and I will be back!

Security and Safety Concerns

This VRBO property was clean, comfortably furnished and in addition to the great location, had magnificent views of Lake Union. That said, we provide an overall rating of 0 to 1 star due to the unsettling and frightening encounter we experienced during our stay. On our fourth night at about 12:30 in the morning, two men used the master code to the electronic lock at the front door and while we were sleeping (subsequently awakened) entered the property, stole a wallet - they left quickly when we confronted them. We immediately contacted the property managers who were responsive, apologetic and arrived the following day with an additional temporary security measure for the front door. This property did not have a secondary lock such as a deadbolt, swing bar or chain lock which would have enabled us to control access from the inside. The master code is available to contractors, sub-contractors, cleaners and others who require access to the property. So while this is a lovely property we caution against renting it unless you are assured that it is safe and secure.

Seattle Getaway

To celebrate the recent college graduations of our now adult kids(wow), we planned a trip to Seattle. The condo was a big hit!! Just north of downtown with a gorgeous view from the deck. The host, Laura, was amazing and provided excellent communication before and during our stay. Five Stars all around! We will be back soon!!

Quick weekend with two kids

I would say overall the rental worked out great for us. Things were clean the utensils were all there. The TV, Internet were very easy to work. The View from the rooftop was fantastic. It is pretty tight for parking if you have an SUV which we had but we made it work. The owners are great with communication which made it very easy to get any questions answered. One thing which is there is a ton of stairs which I saw from earlier review that is something to really consider if you have issues with stairs. For myself and my two kids its no problem. Overall great time and worked out well for my family.

Great spring break in Seattle

Laura was super easy to communicate with and returned our messages quickly. The unit has lots of stairs which we actually really enjoyed. Bottom level has two bedroom, middle level has the master and the upper level has kitchen, dining and living room with the deck on the very tippy top. We didn’t spend much time on the deck, just checked out the views every day. Beds were comfy. One advice — do bring your eye masks if you like sleeping in the dark dark. The outside lights stay on all night and make the bedrooms a bit in the lighter side. Location is great although there aren’t many restaurants you can walk to. But they are just a short drive away so that also wasn’t an issue for us. It was a pretty quiet neighborhood which we appreciated. The walk down to lake Union is short and the lake is so pretty. We had a great time and would stay at Laura’s place again! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Great location but be prepared for stairs

The host was excellent in that she provided a website and several emails that provided very detailed instructions. Every time I had a question, it was super easy just to refer to what was already written. The house was really clean and well kept. The only drawbacks was the fact the house was 3 story in which 2 of the bedrooms were 2 flights away from the living room. Not a problem for most but I have a bad knee and stairs are difficult. The only other thing to note was the bed sizes on the VRBO website do not match what is listed in the picture captions. My bed was a queen, not king.

Beautiful and convienent location!

This was a beautiful townhouse with enough bedrooms for each member of my family. What a surprise to see Saturday flights for Kenmore Air landing and taking off on Lake Union! The rooftop deck was beautiful, even in the chilly fall - and the 2 flights were worth the view! There was a wonderful and helpful welcome basket with goodies that we all loved. The location was convenient to all we wanted to do at the Seattle Center and to Queen Anne, where there was a well-stocked Trader Joe's to cook ourselves some dinner! A great location that we will definitely keep on our list of great places to stay for the future!

Great property in a great location

Very comfortable stay in a part of the city that makes it pretty easy to get around. The rooftop deck has a beautiful view that would certainly be more enjoyable in warmer weather. All of the expected amenities are provided. We had a fantastic time and would definitely try to book here again.
