Not a nice neighborhood, Not a nice building, Not a nice smell in the hall, Not a nice kitchen, Not a nice bathroom, Not a nice living roomâŠ. Not a nice cityâŠ. In conclusion : not nice!!
This was a great option to experience Seattle and a lot of its offerings. The location is close to everything we wanted to do in the area. There were no hassles or inconveniences along the way
The house was old but did the job well. We used the kitchen to cook meals, the bathroom was fully stocked with soap and shampoo, there was a portable AC unit, and the check in/check out process was easy with the host being very responsive.
Was a good trip. Area was loud but i dont live in a big city so injust wasnt used to it. Everything was clean, property might just need a little more loving as it was a very old house. Communication was great and they were very Accommodating with any requests we had.
Location was great and comfortable. Price was better than any local hotels. Parking a rental car was a little bit of a pain as street parking was nonexistent close by, but I was able to find a lot a few blocks away and parked the rental there both nights.
The property itself is old, but had all the amenities we needed, was in a good location near Seattle University, and was clean. The owner generally did a good job of communicating logistics to us. We were renting a compact car, but never had issues with parking on the street.
The house was clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The property is older, so has some quirks but it was charming. Some loud neighbors but not a big deal.
I was deathly ill during that time and was unable to make the trip. I tried , I was actually going to go up until the of the 26;th which was the actual date of a concert I paid 600.00 to see , but I was just too sick to travel from Oregon so I missed the trip. I imagine everything would've been great if I was able to go but I wasn't. Which actually sucks about this whole thing is it is the second time I paid for concert tickets for this perperformer and I have yet to see him. Maybe spneday
Great location for our purpose. Select parking on the street while pay parking in the back yard. If you are picky, park and pay. If you like a challenge park on the street. Clean property on a corner lot.
Unit leaves a lot to be desired, however great communication with owner
The unit is in an old home, the windows and balcony door are probably original to the home and are very drafty, as in I could see through the gaps between the window and window frame and door frame and door, and several shook if the wind was blowing. The unit is very bare bones but has a great location. I wouldnât stay here again during summer or winter as the climate control system leaves much to be desired. The breaker went out and door lock was stuck both times the owner quickly responded with how to fix the issue. All in all a mixed bag.
Had a short trip to visit Seattle and go to a Seahawks game. The location was great and close to everywhere we wanted to be and see. The space was perfect for our group and we had an easy time navigating everything from finding it to access to maintenance of the space. Anything we couldâve needed was communicated by the host and they were quick to respond. Would absolutely stay again!
This apartment suited our needs. We were in Seattle for a concert. The apartment was close to transit, convenient stores for a few groceries and a great Vietnamese restaurant, Ba Bar. The host had great communication. The beds were very comfortable! The apartment was a bit run down and some areas needed a deep clean. The futon/couch in the living room was uncomfortable for watching tv. In general though, we were happy with our 2 night stay here.
We knew was an old building, but old and clean is different, the place is really dirty, and smells bad.
The dishes tray is old and dirty, we couldnât use the kitchen at all.
The street noise is terrible, hombless yelling all night. Very close to everything but canât sleep at all
Went to Seattle for a concert at T-Mobile Park. Was there for a week. The house is older but have charm! We had no issues during our stay. We communicated with the host before and during our stay. Everything matched what was described / as seen. We really liked the location. It was near a lot of things and easy to access Downtown as well as the other areas. We got around mostly using the scooters which was a blast, Seattle has a great bike road system. I would recommend this stay to anyone!
Nice place good location. Check in was easy.
Good value. Place a little run down and outside a bit unkempt made me pause on booking from the Google Street view but glad I did.
Not gonna lie, the area is a little rough but we didnât encounter any issues and loved the ease of walking to the city and local restaurants. The owner is super friendly and fast to respond to questions. He has added special touches with lovely art and comfy bedroom amenities. This is not luxe but lovingly cared for and absolutely functional. Would stay again.
The first thing you see as you stop in front of the house is the graffiti on the front gate. Then the smell kicks in when you open the first door. The overwhelming smell of urine is all around you. There was trash left behind on shelves, dirty laundry under the bed. Walked into an open window that not only had no screen, but it didnât have a lock either. The neighborhood does not feel safe, so thereâs no way I could stay there without basic safety measures like locking windows. The host was terrible, just blamed it on the housekeeper, the prior tenant, etc. I ended up paying $1000 to stay in a hotel. Lasted 10 minutes in this place.
This is an old, spacious place with good sized bedrooms which is well located for downtown Seattle - you could walk but bus stops and and a first hill tram stop are really close.
The appearance from the street did give us a shock - with graffiti on the gate and an over grown garden, but once inside and up the stairs to the apartment we were comfortable. For light sleepers the road noise in the front bedroom might be problematic.
The communication from the host was excellent, and for the location and price point this is a good place to stay.
Great home and a wonderful place to stay. Host has great communication and everything was very clear. Not in the heart of Seattle but easy to get to. Closer to Seattle U, which offers great restaurants and stores
