This was our first time visiting Sedona (we're from Ohio!) and we were hoping to steer clear of the crowds. This location was perfect for us. We could hike trails by day, get all the supplies we needed from the stores in Oak Creek, and then tuck ourselves away in the dome by night. We had a refreshing three days in the area and loved every minute of it.
We have rented many VRBOs in the past and I think I would have to give this one the prize for the best stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We cooked all our meals in house while we stayed here, and I could find every pot, pan, appliance, or spice that I wanted or could ever dream of needing. We were unable to find laundry detergent one evening and the host took care of us within minutes. I think we could have stayed a week or two and had no shortage of any of life's essentials.
The one and only caution I would issue is that if you are above average in either height or width, you may struggle with sleeping upstairs. Thankfully my husband and I are are both below average sizes. But I can't imagine how many times we would have hit our heads on the ceiling in the upper loft or gotten stuck trying to use the spiral staircase if either of us had larger body dimensions.
