Firstly, check in was in one of their rooms due to construction. It was a bit chaotic. Secondly, they gave us a room that had a very strong and unpleasant odor so we asked to be moved to another room. We were moved to a room where they had construction going on above us. It was almost 5:30 pm and they were still working. Trying to nap was not in the cards. As a result, we decided to request for a refund which they approved. However we needed to contact Expedia first so they can contact the property for that approval. Qe have stayed at Bell rock a few other times before over the years but we probably will not be returning to for a stay. We are glad they are doing some updates because the place definitely has needed it for years.

Enjoyed our stay. Notified staff on check out of a light not working properly and bathroom sink extremely slow to drain. Comfortable room and amenities. On check in two front desk staff clearly had some issue with each other. Would stay here again.

Pros: Kitchen has everything you need. The room was very clean. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Staff were great. Location is great. Cons: The bed was rock hard. I’m glad we weren’t staying for more than 2 nights. We were on the bottom floor and could hear every step the people above us took. The sofa in our room had a funky smell and we didn’t even want to sit on it.

Resort fee's! For what? Checked in at 4:30 PM. Went to and early diner. Back in room to sleep. Left at 8AM. Still they charge for "resort fee's". Should be called GREED FEE'S. Old furniture. Place need an update.

The room was clean. The staff was exceptional; extremely friendly yet professional. The pool are was fantastic with the barbecue area right behind it. I stayed for two nights and highly recommend the Bell Inn. I will stay there the next time I am passing through the area.
