This house is very nice in its location and what it could be. Issue is the house is or was being worked on and it shows. We had ants in every bathroom, the fans were almost all broken and not working properly in those bathrooms. The outside of the house desperately needs to be re-caulked. There was not enough hot water to fill up the master bathroom tub even half way. Missing things in the kitchen like sharpened knifes, kitchen shears, oven mitts was frustrating. We noticed the filter on the fridge water dispenser was over 3 months expired. I reached out and didn't hear back for over a day and the filter was never replaced during our stay.
The house is in need of some updates. We enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed. Couldnt get in the front door from outside. But were able to get in vis the garage door.
The house was good for my son and me. It would be great for a large group as there is tons of room. Great neighborhood, loved the sauna. Our only complaint was it is VERY dark. The pictures make it look bright and sunny inside and it most certainly is not. Also, lots of lightbulbs were burned out and unusable. You can't comfortably read a book in the lovely living room because it is just too dark. So while we enjoyed our stay, we were unhappy with all the burned out bulbs and dark atmosphere indoors. If the lighting is improved, it would be great.
We stayed here as a family this week and really liked the location. Great decor- very Sedona feeling. It had a big, open floor plan that allowed us to gather and chat. Fun room downstairs allowed our teens to all sleep in the same room. Very fun. Sedona itself was incredibly busy with no parking anywhere so it made it so nice to have a safe spot to be as a family.
8 Ladies on a Girls Trip. This one is all about location and the spaciousness of the house. Basement bedroom had some issues -Never got any hot water out of the sink. The shower also didn't work for the first 2 days we were there, the outlets in the basement bedroom are also a bit sketchy, falling out of the wall, some spark, some work some of the time . . . Couple of other issues - Wi-Fi very inconsistent. More than 1 hair dryer is needed in a house with this many beds. Not many cups/glasses either. The Location was perfect, the place is very spacious!!! Warning about walking, though, there is a VERY steep hill to climb back up to the house, so be prepared.
Four couples on vacation. Pros: centrally located, nice common space and great views. Cons: poorly stocked kitchen, mice in bureau, towels were wet when we arrived.
We absolutely loved our vacation to Sedona! And the house was pretty good as well. It does need a few upgrades, however. It rained pretty hard while we were there and found out that the roof has a few leaks in it. One being over the bed our girls were sleeping in. And it had a bit of a mouse problem. We had to put our groceries on the kitchen island because the mice would get into it if we put it in the cupboards. Also, the microwave would blow a breaker every time we used it for longer than 45 seconds, like for popcorn or something.
The house itself was very nice, however, and the location was perfect. The view from the from porch was amazing as it overlooked the town and had an excellent view of the mountains. It was a pretty nice house with potential to be perfect.
We had 3 families here and the house had plenty of space. The decor is dated and the kitchen was not missing some necessities.
The microwave didnât work.
