Seguin trip

Lara was a wonderful host. She worked with my family during an intense time for my sister and our family. We had plenty of comfortable beds. The house was more than spacious enough. Thanks Lara for working with us in our need. Very thoughtful for our loss! The house was more than the listing and Lara went far and beyond to make it feel like we were at home with friends!

Family weekend at the river

Quiet neighborhood home on the Guadalupe river with tons of river toys, ping pong table & games. Large open living area with all the creature comforts of home. Plenty of sleeping spaces & bathrooms. Hosts replied to our questions right away. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook!

Beautiful home for family and friends

Lara and her husband were so hospitable during our stay. The little touches in the home like bed linens, towels, throw blankets, cookware did not go unnoticed. Any questions were answered almost immediately. This home had comfortable beds and easily fit the 5 adults and 5 kids ages 5-10. There were more than enough beds available and a crib if we needed. We loved our stay and hope to visit again next summer!

Great Vaca on the Guadalupe!

We had 5 adults and two kids (age 7 and age 9) and we loved our stay! Host was very easy to communicate with and the home was beautiful. Great location and we loved that there was plenty to entertain us at at the house. Board games,kayaking,ping pong table,corn hole boards. We loved that we could spend time as a family there and just get away.

Perfect Thanksgiving gathering place!

This home is the perfect place to gather for large/multiple families. It is open and has so much room, seating, and beds! Finding a home that will sleep so many without cramming our teens into twin beds or making them share beds is so difficult. This was perfect! And the great room/kitchen area had everyone together (unless they were downstairs enjoying ping pong!).

This house was so beautiful and had such great amenities. Everything was clean and tidy, had new appliances throughout the house. Downstairs in the garage had everything you could ever need for the river plus more (ping pong table and corn hole games were a hit for the kids). The ladder to climb down for the river was difficult for some but we were all still able to enjoy the river and everything the house provides. Definitely coming back!

Amazing Family Home!

This home is beautiful and has everything your family needs for a relaxing vacation. There are tons of games and plenty of supplies. The location is perfect, close to San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, and Schlitterbahn!

Summer Vacation

We had a really great time. The owners are really good about communication. The check in and out was a breeze. This property is welcoming, accommodating and has many nice aspects to it. There is an abundance of items that you would want, and they are there. There is plenty of room for a larger group to spread out. The views of the river and the surrounding areas are really nice. The multiple places to sit and relax both inside and out are very nice. The only downside is the access to the water since the dam broke and the water level is significantly lower than it used to be. To that issue, the owners have a Lilly Pad that made getting in and out much easier. Kayaking was an absolute blast. Great access to New Braunfels without the business of being in town. Beautiful and quiet, a lot of peace in this area.

This property was absolutely beautiful and perfect. We came up here for my nieces senior trip to float the river. The house was stunning and had everything we needed. About 30min from Gruene and to float. Lara and Ryan chatted with me a few times when I had questions, very quick responses. We will definitely be booking again for our family summer vacation.

All the Extras!

This property was beautiful, spacious and loaded with extras! The huge great room provided comfortable seating for my family of 8; wether eating, lounging or playing games. We cooked fantastic meals and had everything we needed at our fingertips; two grills, large pots and pans, plenty of dishes and silverware and even a few ‘forgotten’ ingredients. (Best stocked kitchen we have ever had in a rental!) There were games inside and out for the adults and our 3 year old granddaughter. The yard was large enough for family games: bocce, kickball and corn hole. There are several outdoor seating areas (those had to be wiped down before use). The beds were super cozy with great linens.plenty of towels in each of the bathrooms and extras in the laundry room! If you want a place to gather with your favorite people where you can just show up and let the fun begin, THIS IS THE PLCE FOR YOU!!

Great Family Spot

We had wonderful multi-generational family long weekend. The house is well laid out for family time and well stocked. The hosts were communicative and quick to answer a question we had. The big great room is beautiful and looks over the large yard and water. The dock was a great place to sit and watch people swim in the water. The house has lots of seating both inside and out and kitchen is great for cooking. There was a second fridge in the laundry room which is super helpful. Comfortable beds and truly set up for families. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We spent one of our days in new Braunfels at schlitterbaun and it was an easy 30 ish minute drive from the house.

Perfect Large Family Gathering Place

Our extended family that included 9 people from age 1-70 loved this house! There was more than enough room for us to spread out and have our space- both in the bedrooms and living/dining spaces. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. There is a very large basement where all of the bigger kids slept. The house also included all of the baby gear we needed- a crib, High chair seat and baby gates on the stairs. Our family was doing a trip to all of the important Texas history sites. We came from Fort Worth and Houston so the drive was easy for everyone. We made day trips to Austin (about an hour), San Antonio (about an hour), Goliad (1.5 hrs), Gonzales (less than an hour) and Washington of the Brazos (about 2 hours). It was the perfect launching off location! With all of the day driving, we had dinner at home every night and the kitchen provided a great place for cooking. In the evenings, we enjoyed watching movies and relaxing on the beautiful back patio. The hosts were very quick with communication and had everything clearly spelled out for us. We’d love to stay here again!

Girls trip

The house was clean and beautiful. It had everything you would need. Plenty of paper products. Kitchen was stocked. My one and only complaint would be that they need better access to the river. The boat ladder on the deck was not stable! My daughter fell off going down. She was fine. We did block the ladder with logs so that it wouldn't move when climbing up and down! Needless to say we would stay there again. Lovely house, great location.

Family Friendly Lake House

We had a lovely stay visiting family in Seguin at the lake house property. Host was super quick to respond to my requests about check in. The house was a perfect set up for family gathering with the large kitchen, dining and living area. Overall excellent experience.

Loved it

The house was beautiful and very spacious. The stairs definitely gave us a workout but we all enjoyed our stay. We did lose power one evening (I believe it was a blown transformer up the street) we just went and sat outside and we little a small fire and enjoyed the outdoors. The owners messaged us shortly after the power went out to give us a time frame of power restoration.

Summer Vacation

My Family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We loved having our breakfast out on the balcony with great views. House had so many fames for us to play

Beautiful Lake Spot

We went over Spring Break with my husband, my sister and my three teens. House has lot of room and very confortable. You have lake view. We enjoyed the lake, kids enjoy fishing, outdoors and games that house has. Ryan & Lara are amazing host, great communication. We had an issue with wifi and they fixed right away. Overall we absolutely had a great time and we will definitely be back! The house has everything you need! The only suggestion or negative comment we have is the grill. It needs to be replaced is old and metal particles are coming out. We decided not to use it other than that five stars!

Beautiful, great owner

We loved this property, and the layout is great for a larger group. We had planned to have our whole family there (kids and grandkids) but because of COVID we ended up there by ourselves. But we enjoyed the big kitchen and open living space. Only comments are that it is not accessible for anyone with a problem climbing stairs, so be sure you understand that. 18 steps to get to the main living area. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated / kept. Nice amenities.
