What a wonderful place to spend sister time in Seoul! This was BETTER THAN EXPECTED and we were so glad that we chose this location! So close to Namdaemun's shopping and eating area, as well as Myeondongs night market and the Bangsan Baker's wholesale market! WE were able to visit the Modern Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and some other art institutions along the way. We were also close to the Palace and could observe the changing of the guard ceremony on our way back from the museums. The hotel staff was friendly and often greeted us every time we exited or entered the lobby with a smile and good morning,afternoon or evening. Jimmy at the front desk checked us into the hotel on June 2nd and Eric checked us out from the hotel today and helped reserve and order a taxi for our next stay in Gangnam area of Seoul. Jimmy stood out the most to me because he also seemed to really enjoy his job of meeting the guests. His friendly disposition was welcoming and helped to make me feel like the Fraser Place Namdaemun had a "friend" who cared about me during my June 2nd-June 5th, 2024 stay here. My only small issue with the Fraser place was I inquired if we could get extra bed linen for the pull out sofa, but they said it was going to cost me 45,000 won extra a day. I opted for the extra thin blankets that served us better at no additional fee. there was also some forgotten dust on the lamp shades that should be cleaned to keep the room first rate! Thanks so much!

Great location, between two subway stations- central station and city hall with many public transport options and walking distance to main points of interest, including Namdaemun and Myeongdong market. The room was modern, comfortable, clean, spacious enough, with all basic amenities. The staff was friendly and responsive. Pricing was reasonable for the city and location

Clean hotel. Rooms are spacious. Location close to nearby street food market, underground market, restaurants, Olive Young, 7-11, Starbucks. The staff is friendly and majority speaks English. I’d stay here again for on my next visit.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks with 2 friends kf mine. Overall service, staff and experience here was great. Everywhere was clean, staff members were polite and professional throughout; would definitely recommend this hotel. Even though it's set in the business district, there are so many restaurants and so many historical places to visit within walking distance. Thank you for the hospitality, Fraser Hotel. :)

Overall it’s a nice property, restaurants, café right beside the hotel, subway station it’s about 2-3 blocks away. So it’s very doable. This time have a marathon that happened near by so got woken up by the loud noises. On the day I check out they had a demonstration, so the roads were blocked & couldn’t even get any car service or taxi to go to the airport. So it was had to make it out with heavy luggages and to go down those flights of stairs by yourself with one luggage at a time since no one u can trust nor to occupy their time to look after your luggage while u try to make down the stairs to the subway and who knows how many more stairs inside the station as each are different. Another ridiculous encounter was that I threw in the hotel with my clothes to wash as I thought it would save them a bit of hassle. However it got discoloured to like a beige colour instead of white and the housekeeping staff saw & ask if it was my towel and I said no it’s the hotel, it just got discoloured as I threw in with my wash. Next thing within an hour or so I’ve got a letter from the hotel and state that I’ve “damaged the linens” as there will be a charge. It’s not much but really…… a charge for discoloured the towels??? Can they not use bleach or does bleach cost that much nor even to bring that to an attention to the customer it’s a bit much!!! This is strictly my opinion and to whomever disagree then that’s you call but I feel to bring that kind of attention it’s tasteless!!!

Overall property is centrally located. However, for the rates that this property has: it is extremely old. Rooms are not modern and not renovated. It is not inviting for relaxing timing. It is quiet at night but if you would choose a hotel where you want to relax after a busy day in the city, definitely this is not the one. Have traveled a lot in Asia and stayed in lovely hotels, I would not stay here again for sure.

The room was very small, we hardly had room to put our suitcases. The bathroom also was very small, difficult to find where to out the cloths when showering. And the view from the window was a wall... the back of another building, very close. The location is good and the room was clean, but we were disappointed by the size and the view of a building wall.
