Generally, a nice property with good rooms, but unfortunately the beach is now eroded and gone and the free shuttle to the public beach is a small van which only seats12 (so often too crowded or no room). Breakfast is great and the staff are excellent. The gym is small with no windows and is not well appointed. The pool area is nice but also too small and it has difficulty accommodating all the guests who are jammed in as there is no beach option.

The Expedia website for this hotel under the heading "about this property" says, "white sandy beach. There is no beach / it was lost to erosion. I spent weeks trying to cancel my trip when I found out there was no beach - but Expedia staff tried to explain to me that "white sandy beach" doesn't mean it's at the hotel - it's the beach they shuttle you to. What an absolute disappointment and waste of money - shame on you Expedia who blamed the property for the issue and wouldn't take ownership of the problem to fully resolve it.

We have stayed at many Marriott Properties and this was the worst by far. This is not a resort. It is a cheap hotel with no valet, no amenities, no customer service and absolutely no beach at all. That is right! This is the only property on 7 mile beach without a beach. One of the filters I used was beach resort but there is NO BEACH - some of the reviews said they have a great beach but the review must be 10yrs old or more. They tried to compensate by providing a free shuttle to the public beach and government beach but they were overcrowded and disgusting, too many people and too much garbage. How dare they charge $750 per night and a $65 per day resort fee with no resort, beach, valet, and 1 small pool and tiny hot tub. The staff lied over and over stating that the website says there is no beach but when I confronted them to show me where it states that they could not show me. They ruined my trip and I will never forget what happened to me and my wife during our anniversary and how they made us feel. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Todd Bott

The room was very clean. Hotel staff helpful. The extra classes that were added in over the holidays were a wonderful addition! This should be done routinely! We participated in a paint and sip class, an empanada making class and more. The fitness room, however, is in need of updates and mold eradication. The smell is not due to perspiration, but rather to mold and mildew as evident in the ceiling tiles. We would definitely think of staying here again, although it should be clear on the website that this property has no beach.

Great staff! Great activities -Minu and Lupita did an amazing job. Most of the international staff were always willing to help, friendly and had a great attitude towards customer service. Just be careful before you’re booking if you’re going to the this place for beach, THERES NO BEACH… it got wiped away several years back. Our experience here was amazing expect the Christmas dinner when the they were short staffed and over booked. I would avoid going here during the holidays.

Had very pleasant stay for a short 4 days getaway to 7MB. Staff overall extremely friendly and welcoming. We asked for an extra robe and slippers, they were brought up right away. No complaints.
