The location and beach are great/beautiful. The cleaning staff was excellent. The rugs needed cleaning/replacement. Black water stains in master bath cabinet, the list could go on. Suffice it to say the interior needs updates and refreshes.

Quiet Paradise

This was our second time staying in condo 16. It’s right on the beach, quiet, and peaceful. We had a window that was left open and the crank was broken. Marji sent someone within a few hours to fix. Most of our stay, there was maybe 2 other couples out on the beach there. Felt like we had our own private beach. Hope to visit again in a couple years.

Hidden Slice of Paradise

Our stay at White Sands could not have been better. The condo is directly on the beach, and the beach itself is extremely private. The water in front of the condo was incredibly calm. The trees on the property provide ample shade. The condo itself was great as well. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. We rented a car which was helpful given the condo is a little further north of the main hotels on SMB. We will definitely be coming back, and would recommend this place to anyone!

Awesome SMB Location

The beach was perfect and as pictured. We snorkeled out front and saw sting rays and turtles. The unit was very comfortable and had great views. We enjoyed being away from the crowded hotel areas yet a short car ride to shop, dive, etc. We cooked our meals and had planned to grill a lot but there was not an actual grill but a stone pit for charcoals which is not as convenient as a gas grill. I would highly recommend White Sands 16.

Great stay at White Sands 16

We had a great day at White Sands. It was so nice to be right on the beach with beautiful palm trees right on the property. The property is nicely appointed with everything you can need and Margie was excellent with our requests. Will definitely be staying here again

Paradise

The beach here is so beautiful it is hard to believe it is real! It looks like a postcard. The water is calm and clear, and the trees provide shade. For those who have not been here, this part of Seven Mile beach still has sand. The southern part seems to have lost a lot. It is also much quieter here. We were able to easily enter the water and snorkel off the beach. You can also swim to cemetery beach from here. We saw many fish and a sea turtle. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. The master bed and the furniture were comfortable. It was very hot and humid while we were there, but the AC worked great. The grounds of the condo building were well maintained.

Very private and well maintained. Had everything we needed. It was nice to have our own beach chairs and beds ch lose to the water. Definitely recommend stingray trip and turtle center plus Bonnie Moon Beach Club.

Amazing spot

My fiance and a couple of friends and I stayed here for a week. Our condo was very well cleaned and stocked making our trip very easy and enjoyable. The view couldn’t have been better, White Sands beach area was the best place to spend our day when we weren’t out adventuring. The hammocks, picnic area, trees offering shade on a sunny day, and grill to cook lunch or dinner on. We spent all day out there, we had everything we needed. We couldn’t be happier. Such a quiet and private beach area but still so close to any attractions or restaurants on the island. Our next trip to Grand Cayman, this is where we want to be! We were also a huge fan of the local chickens on the beach. They don’t bother you but keep you entertained! Some people have commented that they wake you up early in the morning, I only heard them maybe once and it didn’t bother me. Loved it.

Hair detangling and stingray rangling!

White Sands #16 did not disappoint. I am so glad that we chose to stay on 7-mile beach and at White Sands. Better than the Ritz and the Westin!! Quaint and quiet and the beautiful Casuarina Pine Trees provide cool shade and privacy. Wonderful snorkeling right off the shore and up and down the beach. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of George Town. I did rent a little car and was glad. The condo had everything we needed for breakfast and coffee and dinner and lunch. Nice towels and beach chairs. I hope that we get to come again.

Perfect Beach Vacay

The beach was perfect! With the shade on the property and the beautiful beach access with provided chairs was amazing. We at times felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Marji the property manager was very kind and eager to be helpful and make sure guest enjoy their stay. The chickens are everywhere on the island, so this isn't just a resort issue. There was about 1 rooster near the property that did his job and crowed at sunrise, but we were prepared and had earplugs. Location is further out of the hubbub of 7 mile beach, yet close enough. I was hoping to be able to walk to more eateries and shops, but we definitley had to take a taxi or you need a car to get around. But, we enjoyed our time in Cayman and would love to come back!

Beautiful Relaxing Beach Vacation

The beach seemed private for most of our stay with sand and clear blue water just steps away. Marji was the best at helping with anything you need and so very nice. The condo is on the 2nd floor, with a perfect balcony overlooking the semi-private beach, trees, sand and water. The trees provide great shade during the day, with the view of beautiful sunsets. After staying at the South End of Seven Mile Beach, this was 100 times better, best location away from busy areas, close to the best restaurants. Don't miss Macabuca or Tukka, on the water.... great food. The Codo association really does need to take care of the wild chickens and roosters in the area, trap and relocate is my suggestion. The roosters crowing through the night is the one negative to a perfect vacation. Thanks so much to Marji and Susan!!

Nice quiet spot on 7 Mile Beach

Hard to beat this area of 7 mile if you are looking for something quiet and reasonably priced. The location also makes getting around the Island easy. The owners are great people and will look after you well. The complex is older and this unit could use some upgrades sooner than later, but the owners do a good job of making sure its functioning well and is clean. I would stay here again, especially for the beach with the nice shade that the pine trees offer, and the pure sand swimming area.

Another Visit to the Caymans

I liked the property but it could use some updating particularly minor things like plates, cups, glasses, coffee maker and silverware. We decided to use paper products for our stay. The upstairs loft has a slanted ceiling and a fan. The two bedrooms on different floors were fine. Beach was fantastic!! Don't expect to sleep late due to the roosters' 3:30 AM wake up calls, worked for us as we had to catch early boats. Would stay at the property again.

Perfect Private Beach on Grand Cayman

Coming from seven days on Cayman Brac where (knowingly) our rented home had an iron shore littered with sea urchins, White Sands gave us exactly what we needed in terms of access to pristine white beaches and bathtub crystal clear water. The palms and pines closer to the structure provided shade for those who needed it without being far from the water's edge. Little chicken families plucked around and bothered no one while the chicks rested in the shade under our loungers. The property itself was clean, well maintained and had everything we possibly needed, while being close to great restaurants and activities. The only recommendation/suggestion is that the entire complex should make it clear that loungers are unit-specific. Even though our unit's loungers were appropriately labeled/numbered and thoughtfully had cushions which others didn't, another party took them, and combined them with loungers from other units. This was frustrating as the same party conversed loudly and obnoxiously all day long with no regard to other guests and played loud music on an otherwise perfect beach. Despite the uncontrollable and brief influence of others, I would absolutely stay at White Sands again and would recommend to others.

Beautiful beach!

Wonderful property on Seven Mile Beach. Unit provides beach towels, beach chairs and there are plenty of floats from prior guests! Recommend groceries from Foster’s at Camana Bay. Unit has daily cleaning service. Kitchen has all the basic items you need. Beach is wonderful - plenty of snorkeling up and down the beach. We saw stingrays, nurse shark and turtles. The water is sandy-not rocky. Will definitely be back!

Quiet Beachfront Location

Really loved the location. Private beach away from other condos up the beach. Well run and responsive to all our inquiries. Liked being closer to West Bay than Georgetown along 7 mile beach although you needed a cab most of the time and fairly expensive for short distances. Recommend Waldo for taxi service. Great guy. Ask Marji. Rent a car if adventurous. Wonderful time but bring earplugs for the roosters!
